BATMAN,MARILYN AND OTHER PEOPLE DO NO EXPECT DINNER – THEATRAL LABORATORY BATISFERA – CAGLIARI – OCTOBER 2012 – JUNE 2013

The theme
We live in a world of super heroes and heroines of manga and TV series. Beside the classical mythology has been a pantheon populated by pop figures which anyone can easily refer without fear of being incomprehensible. The Seduction of Marilyn airhead, darkness heroic Batman, the ironic resourcefulness of Indiana Jones references are in daily use belonging to a contemporary yet florida. These characters china or celluloid inhabit our imagination and in their unperturbed two-dimensionality are constantly reworking, in permanent interpretation. In our laboratory, we try to build theatrical scenes in which these characters find themselves in unusual situations, to rescue them from their world and immerse them in ours. What would happen if Darth Vader had come together to dinner at the home of mild Menghelli family? What do you speak? And how would the quarrel over who gets to slice the roast?

Extra modules
A once a month who attend the workshop will take part free of additional classes taught by artists outside the course. Thanks to these extra modules you can work on specific issues or have an idea about the different realities of artistic and theatrical. Each module will have an extra independent theme and will be open to those who do not attend the workshop.

Teachers
The course is directed by Valentina Fadda and Angelo Trofa, that they will use for the extra modules, the collaboration of other professionals such as: Tiziana Troja, Michela Sale Musio, Rossella Faa, Elio Round Arthemalle, Simeone Latini, Alessandra Leo, Elio Round Arthemalle , Happy Montervino and Vanessa Podda.

Who is
The workshop is open to everyone, who has had some experience as a theater for the first time who wants to prove himself with acting.

Frequency
2 meetings per week (Monday and Wednesday) of two hours each, plus the extra modules that provide a meeting per month (Friday) for 2 hours with an external teacher.
