Itinerario enogastronomico e di maschere nel paese dei Mamuthones e Issohadores.

La manifestazione aderisce al circuito “Autunno in Barbagia” ed è nata nel 2003 con l’idea di creare un percorso eno-gastronomico e artigianale che riprendesse la tradizione mamoiadina di fare tappe nelle cantine e nelle case degli amici a degustare un pezzo di formaggio, pane e un bicchiere di vino.

Così è nato questo percorso nel cuore del paese, che associa da un lato la tradizione culinaria mamoiadina che vanta tra l’altro ricette originali e una tradizione dolciaria di tutto rispetto e dall’altro la tradizione artigianale che spazia dalla realizzazione delle maschere dei Mamuthones alla lavorazione del coltello, dai lavori di intaglio del legno alla lavorazione del costume tradizionale e da svariate lavorazioni artistiche nate in questi ultimi anni sulla scia della manifestazione.

Non mancheranno le esibizioni nel centro storico dei Mamuthones e Issohadores che da sempre affascinano i visitatori.

Da qualche anno vengono ospitate “tappas” straniere, creando così uno scambio culturale e un confronto con realtà diverse.

Associate alle esposizioni e agli assaggi eno-gastronomici vi sono poi le varie attività culturali, eventi e mostre realizzate a supporto della manifestazione, la visita al Museo delle Maschere Mediterranee e alle sedi delle due Associazioni Culturali Pro Loco e Atzeni Beccoi completa questo viaggio originale tra sapori e tradizione nel “paese delle maschere”.
