ATELIER MACBETTU – BANDO PER LA SELEZIONE DI 15 ATTORI PROFESSIONISTIATELIER MACBETTU – Call for the selection of 15 professional actors

Il CeDAC/ Sardegna organizza – in collaborazione con Il crogiuolo –  l’“Atelier Macbettu”, il laboratorio di creazione teatrale condotto dal regista Alessandro Serra (Compagnia Teatropersona) e rivolto a 15 attori professionisti (13 attori e 2 attrici) che si svolgerà a Cagliari, presso il Teatro La Vetreria – nello Spazio della Scuola di Arti Sceniche (in via Italia a Pirri) da martedì 1 a sabato 5 aprile 2014.

L’“Atelier Macbettu” si inserisce nel progetto di un mise en scène ispirata al “Macbeth” di William Shakespeare e alle suggestioni del Carnevale in Sardegna: i partecipanti al laboratorio, selezionati in base al curriculum (da inviare via mail entro il 28 febbraio 2014 all’indirizzo: direzione@cedacsardegna.it) formeranno il primo gruppo di lavoro sui temi del dramma elisabettiano e gli elementi antropologico-magici dei riti arcaici legati alla civiltà agraria e all’uso della maschera e dei simboli apotropaici nelle diverse forme del Carnevale nell’Isola.

La partecipazione al laboratorio è gratuita – senza limiti d’età o provenienza, il requisito fondamentale è l’esperienza sul palcoscenico e la conoscenza degli elementi fondamentali del linguaggio e della tecnica teatrale.

Agli attori che parteciperanno all’Atelier Macbettu è richiesta un’attenta e approfondita lettura del “Macbeth” di Shakespeare e la conoscenza memoria di un piccolo brano (a scelta); dovranno inoltre portare con sé, oltre agli indumenti comodi per il training, due oggetti per raccontare il dramma (possibilmente raccolti in natura) e due costumi, rispettivamente da strega e da fantasma (vista la prossimità del cliché all’archetipo) oltre a una fonte luminosa. L’impegno del laboratorio è di 8 ore giornaliere nel corso delle quali si affronterà il lavoro con i bastoni lunghi e si approfondiranno i rapporti tra “utilità e forma – posa e postura” e lo spazio semantico tra “gesto – azione – atto”; si studierà come “creare e sostenere il vuoto” con il corpo e lo sguardo; l’uso della voce, e in particolare il canto e la polifonia. Spazio anche all’improvvisazione (individuale e di gruppo) e a un lavoro sulla composizione, con particolare attenzione alla drammaturgia dell’immagine, alla relazione con gli oggetti e con lo spazio e alla luce.

L’“Atelier Macbettu” è altresì finalizzato alla scelta dei 6-8 attori che parteciperanno alla residenza creativa sul “Macbettu”, ovvero la trasposizione nell’Isola – tra i suoni de sa limba  e i gesti icastici del rito – della tragedia shakespeariana, in programma a settembre 2014 a Palau.

domanda_ateliermacbettuCEDAC / Sardinia organizes – in collaboration with The Crucible – l ‘ ” Atelier Macbettu ,” the theatrical creation workshop led by director Alessandro Serra ( Company Teatropersona ) and addressed to 15 professional actors (13 actors and actresses 2 ) to be held in Cagliari , at the Theatre the Glass – Space of the School of Performing Arts (on an Italian Pirri ) from Tuesday 1 to Saturday, April 5, 2014 .

L ‘ ” Atelier Macbettu ” fits into the design of a mise en scène inspired by ” Macbeth” by William Shakespeare and the suggestions of the Carnival in Sardinia: the workshop participants , selected on the basis of the curriculum (to be sent via e-mail by February 28, 2014 at: direzione@cedacsardegna.it ) will form the first group of work on the themes of Elizabethan drama and magic – anthropological elements of archaic rituals related to the farming community and the use of the mask and apotropaic symbols in the various forms of the Carnival the island.

Participation in the workshop is free – no age limit or origin, the basic requirement is the stage experience and knowledge of the basic elements of language and stagecraft .

The actors who will participate in the Atelier Macbettu required a careful and thorough reading of ” Macbeth ” by Shakespeare and knowledge memory of a small piece (of your choice ), must also carry, in addition to comfortable clothing for training two objects to tell the drama (possibly collected in the wild ) and two costumes , witch and ghost , respectively (due to the proximity of the cliché archetype ) as well as a light source. The commitment of the workshop is 8 hours per day during which we will address working with long sticks and will delve into the relationship between ” utility and form – pose and posture ” and the semantic space between ” human activity – action – action” ; explore how to ” create and sustain the gap” with the body and the eyes , and the use of the voice, and in particular singing and polyphony . There is also space for improvisation ( individual and group ) and a work on the composition, with particular attention to the drama of the image , the relationship with the objects and the space and the light .

L ‘ ” Atelier Macbettu ” is also aimed at the choice of 6-8 players who will participate in creative residency on ” Macbettu “, or the transposition of the island – between sounds and gestures de sa limba icastici of the ritual – the Shakespearean tragedy , in scheduled for September 2014 in Palau.
