Arte Sarda. Un itinerario del Novecento dalle collezioni private

Prende il via il 14 giugno alle ore 18.00 un’importante esposizione: Arte Sarda. Un itinerario del Novecento dalle collezioni private, un percorso ricco di contenuti che vede raccolte presso il TRIBU, Spazio per le Arti – Museo Francesco Ciusa, di Nuoro, oltre 200 opere, di 50 artisti tra i più storicizzati del 900.

La mostra ideata, organizzata e curata dalla Ilisso Edizioni, con il sostegno della Camera di Commercio di Nuoro, la Banca di Sassari e lo sponsor tecnico di Artigianato & Design, allestimento a firma dell’architetto Antonello Cuccu, è un’iniziativa di respiro corale. Coinvolti Enti e collezionisti privati, sardi e non solo, che da sempre sono vicini alla casa editrice alla quale hanno sempre espresso la loro collaborazione, condividendone il programma culturale e l’impegno del TRIBU, una sua concreta espressione volta a diffondere e promuovere un’immagine di Sardegna attraverso le sue più alte produzioni.

Dalla riflessione sul difficile momento sociale ed economico che il Paese tutto, l’Isola, e in special modo Nuoro, stanno attraversando, si è pensato di poter rilanciare il territorio con una proposta culturale di forte valenza identitaria, rappresentativa del suo patrimonio migliore in un contesto fortemente impoverito anche nelle prospettive di volano e di investimenti.

Grazie ai collezionisti – il cui contributo volontaristico, in uno spirito di condivisione, restituisce alla fruizione collettiva le loro opere – è stato possibile realizzare un evento di eccellenza che si traduce in un attrattore turistico di qualità per questo territorio fuori dalle più consuete proposte dei litorali costieri.

L’esposizione oltre a opere pittoriche e scultoree, veri capolavori di cui molti ancora inediti, propone una rilevante presenza di manufatti d’arte applicata che rivelano le profonde radici dell’artigianato sardo, espressione di antichi saperi che necessitano di un rinnovato sostegno.

Una sintetica ma efficace retrospettiva è dedicata a Maria Lai, artista recentemente scomparsa; sezione speculare all’altra sulla figura di Costantino Nivola, centrata, oltre che alla produzione iniziale, sulla sua attenzione alla ceramica realizzata con le botteghe artigiane. Sensibilità collaborativa, aspetto sul quale la mostra pone l’accento, espressa da tutti gli artisti sardi del XX secolo. Da sottolineare fra i tanti l’inedito, immenso lampadario in ferro battuto disegnato da Ciusa e realizzato presso la Scuola d’Arte di Oristano, negli anni Venti, affiancato da ceramiche dei Fratelli Melis e Ciriaco Piras, arredi di Edina Altara, collages in panno delle Sorelle Coroneo, giocattoli di Anfossi e Tavolara.

In questa speciale occasione TRIBU insieme al MAN, promuove la formula del biglietto unico grazie al quale sarà possibile accedere ai due musei cittadini. La mostra – tutti i giorni escluso il lunedì dalle ore 10 alle 13 e dalle ore 16 alle 20 rimarrà aperta sino al 27 ottobre.

Art Sarda. An itinerary of the twentieth century from private collections

Kicks off on June 14th at 18:00 a major exhibition: Art Sarda. A route from the private collections of the twentieth century, a path full of content that sees gathered at the TRIBE, Space for the Arts – Francis Ciusa Museum of Nuoro, more than 200 works by 50 artists among the most historicized 900.

The exhibition conceived, organized and curated by the Ilisso Editions, with the support of the Chamber of Commerce of Nuoro, Sassari and the Bank of the technical sponsor of Craft & Design, construction Antonello Cuccu signed by the architect, is an initiative of breath choral . Involved organizations and private collectors, Sardinia and beyond, who have always been close to the publishing house to which they have always expressed their collaboration, sharing the cultural program and the commitment of the TRIBE, its concrete expression to spread and promote a ‘ image of Sardinia through his high production.

Through reflection on the social and economic difficult time that the country all over the Island, and especially Nuoro, are going through, it was thought to be able to revitalize the area with a cultural identity of great value, representative of its most valuable assets in a context strongly depleted even in the prospect of flying and investment.

Thanks to collectors – whose voluntary contribution, in a spirit of sharing, returns to the collective use their works – it was possible to create an event of excellence that translates into a tourist attraction for this area of ​​quality out of the more usual proposals of the coasts coastal.

The exhibition as well as paintings and sculptures, masterpieces of which many still unpublished, offers a significant number of artefacts of applied art that reveal the deep roots of Sardinian, expression of ancient knowledge that need a renewed support.

A brief but effective retrospective is dedicated to Mary Lai, an artist who recently passed away; mirrors the other section on the figure of Costantino Nivola, centered, as well as the initial production on his attention to ceramics made with artisan shops. Sensitivity collaborative aspect on which the exhibition emphasizes, expressed by all the Sardinian artists of the twentieth century. To underline the unusual among the many, huge wrought iron chandelier designed by Ciusa and built at the Art School of Oristano, in the twenties, accompanied by pottery of the Brothers Ciriaco Melis and Piras, furnishings Edina Altara, collages cloth Sisters Coroneo, toys Anfossi and Tavolara.

On this special occasion together with MAN TRIBE, promotes the formula of the single ticket thanks to which you will have access to the two museums. The exhibition – every day except Monday from 10 am to 13 and from 16 to 20 will remain open until 27 October.
