Saturday, October 20 at T Hotel from 10 traditions and flavors, meetings and tastings between producers and consumers. The proceeds will benefit the ongoing projects in the small village of Orangea in Madagascar, by the Stars of the South

Saturday, October 20, starting at 10, the appointment is at the T Hotel in the Judged by 66, for a special day dedicated to regional culinary tradition.

The protagonists of this day will once again Archeosapori; goodness that belong to our past, forgotten flavors and traditions related to the processing of bread, pasta, cakes and more a part of the big island’s culinary heritage in danger of extinction .

The invitation to participate in this day is open to all producers, consumers and gourmets who want to rediscover the genuine Sardinian food.
“It ‘s also a way to rediscover an ancient knowledge that we all have a duty to preserve and pass” – says Gilberto Arru, organizer of the event in collaboration with the Association of South Star Onlus.
At 12, he will meet with between producers and restaurateurs to protect the identity of regional food and wine, but also the relevance of creating new synergies to address the looming crisis of consumption and point out the weaknesses of the sector. On this occasion we will present some important projects:

a mark of recognition to restaurants that serve traditional regional cuisine, based on local and seasonal;
a gourmet regional competition;
the establishment of a prize for the best wine;
competition among young chef who best know how to interpret and enhance regional cuisine

But we will also discuss the future of regional food and wine producers, restaurateurs and chefs.

In the morning there will be tastings of oils and cheeses of Sardinia. In the afternoon, those wines, Vermentino di Gallura Vermentino di Sardegna, Carignano del Sulcis, Malvasia di Bosa and Malvasia di Cagliari. These wines, in recent decades, have helped to change the face of Sardinian oenology in Italy and in the world. The wine tasting will be guided by Sommelier AIS and Gilberto Arru, those oils by Giandomenico Scanu, those of cheeses from other experts in the field and will all be paid.
