AL MUSEO MURATS CON “APRITI SESAMO” SI SPALANCANO LE PORTE SUL MONDO DEL TAPPETO E DELL’ARAZZO SARDO. UN’ESPOSIZIONE CHE COINVOLGE LA PRODUZIONE CONTEMPORANEA DI BEN OTTO CENTRI DELL’ISOLA DOVE LA CULTURA DEL TAPPETO RESISTE E FA EXPORT. LA MOSTRA SI SNODA IN UN DOPPIO APPUNTAMENTO NELL’ASSE SAMUGHEO – VILLANOVA MONTELEONE

A Samugheo prima e a Villanova Monteleone dopo si spalancano le porte del fantastico mondo del tappeto e dell’arazzo sardo. La parola d’ordine è Apriti Sesamo, questo è infatti il titolo della mostra con la quale si prosegue la strada della ricerca e testimonianza della produzione che ancora persiste in Sardegna nel settore del tessile, questa volta nello specifico del tappeto e dell’arazzo.
L’appuntamento sarà inaugurato giovedì 7 marzo alle ore 19:00 presso il MURATS e sarà visitabile fino a mercoledì 1 maggio.
La mostra sarà esposta in due sedi, la prima è quella del Museo MURATS di Samugheo mentre la seconda sarà al Museo Etnografico Sa Domo Manna di Villanova Monteleone, in collaborazione con la cooperativa ATI MONTE BARANTA A S’ANDIRA, dove sarà inaugurata l’8 maggio e terminerà il 28 giugno.

Gli artigiani coinvolti provengono da 8 paesi, Aggius, Bonorva, Dorgali, Isili, Mogoro, Nule, Samugheo, Villamassargia e rappresentano le offerte tessili ancora esistenti in Sardegna che coniugano produzione manuale e alta qualità.

<Il titolo della mostra, richiama alla memoria la famosa frase segreta, del racconto Alì Babà e i quaranta ladroni, che se pronunciata dava la possibilità di accedere a un tesoro di immenso valore, nel nostro caso la ricchezza è rappresentata dalla lunghissima tradizione nella produzione di questi due manufatti che hanno dato fama e popolarità all’artigianato sardo, ma che in questi ultimi anni sta pagando un prezzo altissimo a causa di una lunga crisi che ne sta insidiando il futuro>, dice Baingio Cuccu, direttore del MURATS di Samugheo.
<La frase del titolo, che ci riporta alla memoria il racconto di origine persiana, vuole ironizzare sul fatto che i manufatti persiani sono tra i più popolari nell’immaginario comune, con questo titolo ci si dovrebbe aspettare una mostra di tappeti orientali, invece quello in questione è il tesoro sardo che con la sua produzione raggiunge livelli similmente alti>.

Una ricchezza di inestimabile valore dal punto di vista culturale che denota un’elaborazione e un’attenzione alla particolarità esistenti in diverse comunità con colori, disegni, tecniche che vengono utilizzati con una grandissima varietà e che esprimono il raggiungimento di un’estrema abilità congiunta sempre a una qualità eccelsa.

La mostra, – per il Direttore del Museo – è stata realizzata con l’intento di fare una selezione, il più esaustiva possibile e coinvolgendo laboratori ancora regolarmente iscritti, di manufatti che sono prodotti in questo momento e quindi richiesti dal mercato, fatti salvi i due criteri citati in precedenza, cioè la realizzazione manuale e l’alta qualità.

<Con questa evento>, prosegue il sindaco di Samugheo Antonello Demelas, <il MURATS vuole continuare a mantenere alta l’attenzione verso un settore che rischia di essere compromesso da un declino che non accenna a diminuire, declino che bisogna assolutamente arrestare. La mostra diventa così una testimonianza dell’ abilità degli artigiani del tappeto e della bellezza di un prodotto che è stato fondamentale per la società e la cultura sarda nella sua economia e vita quotidiana>.
La collaborazione con il Museo di Villanova Monteleone vuole essere un primo passo per la realizzazione di rapporti con altre istituzioni, non solo isolane, per la divulgazione di eventi in diverse sedi, dando vita così un maggiore avvicinamento delle realtà museali al territorio.

A Samugheo before and after Villanova Monteleone, the doors of the fantastic world of the carpet and tapestry Sardinia. The watchword is Open Sesame, this is the title of the exhibition with which he continues the path of research and evidence of the production that still persists in Sardinia in the textile sector, this time specifically the carpet and tapestry.
The event will be inaugurated on Thursday, March 7 at 19:00 at the MURATS and will be open until Wednesday, May 1.
The exhibition will be on display in two locations, the first is the Museum of MURATS Samugheo while the second will be at the Ethnographic Museum Sa Domo Manna of Villanova Monteleone, in collaboration with the cooperative ATI Monte Baranta A S’Andira, which will be inaugurated on 8 May and will end on June 28.

The artisans involved are from 8 countries, Aggius, Bonorva, Dorgali, Isili, Mogo, Nule, Samugheo, Villamassargia offers textile and represent extant in Sardinia that combine manual production and high quality.
