APPUNTAMENTI CON L’ARTE IN BIBLIOTECA – LINO FOIS – CAGLIARI – 12-23 GIUGNOAPPOINTMENT WITH ART IN LIBRARY – LINO FOIS – CAGLIARI – JUNE 12th TO 23th

Si rinnova “Appuntamenti con l’arte in Biblioteca”, rassegna di mostre organizzata dall’associazione culturale Hermaea Archeologia e Arte in collaborazione con la Mediateca del Mediterraneo di Cagliari. Dopo il grande successo della prima esposizione, la personale di Michele Greco dello scorso maggio il centro polivalente ospiterà le opere di Lino Fois dal 12 al 23 giugno. La mostra sarà visitabile gratuitamente dal martedì al sabato, dalle ore 9:00 alle ore 20:00. Oltre trenta opere in esposizione appartenenti ai cicli “Amorosi legami”, “Rancorosi legami”, “Carillon”, “Macchine” e “Boxes”.

Lino Fois nasce a Sant’Antioco nel 1959, ora vive e lavora a Quartu Sant’Elena. Ha conseguito la Laurea al D.A.M.S. presso l’Università di Bologna con una tesi in Estetica dal titolo Teorie e poetiche dell’off camera fotografico.

Negli anni ottanta si cimenta nella ricerca nelle arti visive ed inizia ad esporre dal 2004 con una certa continuità inaugurando con la Mostra personale Falsa Riga.

In ogni sua opera d’arte la materia sembra dar forma ad un’ineffabile sentimento, arrivare vicino vicino al mondo astratto e come in un beffardo gioco non toccarlo mai tangibilmente! Come se una macchina costruita dall’uomo possa cancellare l’amarezza o risvegliare un desiderio con un semplice tocco! Quasi induce a pensarlo “L’ eliminatore della tristezza degli addobbi di Natale” o “L’accendi desideri”o“Dopo la carica del carillon cadrà una stella e potrete esprimere un desiderio.”

E dietro quest’umana illusione si nasconde un sottile legame tra la creazione artistica del Fois ed il suo titolo che è parte integrante ed imprescindibile dell’opera, un luogo in cui oggetto e parola diventano perfetto connubio di una sarcastica e profonda verità dell’uomo.
L’Iniziativa “Appuntamenti con l’arte in biblioteca” proseguirà con l’esposizione finale di Alessandro Sau dal 3 al 14 luglio.

E’ un progetto organizzato dall’Associazione Culturale Hermaea Archeologia e Arte. Un particolare ringraziamento va alla Mediateca del Mediterraneo di Cagliari per aver messo a disposizione ospitalità e competenza.

It renews “Appointments with art in the Library”, a series of exhibitions organized by the cultural Hermaea Archaeology and Art in collaboration with the Media in the Mediterranean of Cagliari. After the great success of the first exhibition, the staff of Michele Greek last May, the multi-purpose center will host the works of Lino Fois June 12 to 23. The exhibition will be free from Tuesday to Saturday, from 9:00 to 20:00. Over thirty works on display belong to the cycles “Amorosi links”, “resentful ties”, “Carillon”, “Cars” and “Boxes”.

Lino was born in S. Antioco Fois in 1959, now lives and works in St. Helens. He graduated at D.A.M.S. at the University of Bologna with a thesis entitled Aesthetic Theories and poetics of off room photo.

In the eighties, became deeply involved in research in the visual arts and began to exhibit in 2004 with a degree of continuity with the ushering staff False Riga Show

In each work of art seems to matter to shape an ineffable feeling, get close to the abstract world and as a mocking game never touch tangibly! As if a machine built by man could erase the bitterness or awaken a desire with a simple touch! Almost leads one to think of “L ‘eliminator with the sadness of Christmas decorations” or “The turn desires” or “After the charge of the music box will drop a star and you can make a wish.”

And behind quest’umana illusion hides a subtle link between the artistic creation of Fois and its title which is an integral and essential part of the work, a place where object and word become perfect blend of a sarcastic and profound truth of man .
The Initiative “Appointments with art in the library” will continue with the final exhibition of Alexander Sau July 3 to 14.
