To Siddi, 3 to 5 August 2012, will take place AppetitosaMente 2012, the festival which starts from good food and involves the spirit and mind, this year dedicated to biodiversity.

Sardinia is a land of biodiversity – one of the most important in Europe – a uniqueness that distinguish varieties that enrich. AppetitosaMente, now in its seventh edition, is a three-day event dedicated to food and quality products with meetings, screenings, exhibitions, installations, tours, shows, concerts, distinguished guests, workshops, trade show, tastings , paths and banquets.

The Festival of Siddi, Sardinian village of pasta for over 50 years, he says, produces and provides the pasta typical of this rural village – the marraconis filaus – allowing visitors to discover its other culinary productions, its cultural and environmental resources, people, Marmilla whole, which is ground fresh eyes, and heart.

Appetitosamente is also a place of encounter, exchange, sharing. A regional point of reference for discussing the food as an expression of cultures, lifestyles and identity. A space in which to reason, so deep and light, of issues related to food quality to their relationship with the territories, the mode of production and sales, the relationship with the cycle of seasons and the environment.

Appetitosamente is also a space where practicing pleasure, conviviality, diversity, friendship, ethics, doubt, curiosity, happiness, beauty.

The Festival is organized by the City of Siddington, in collaboration with its citizens, the Cooperativa Villa Silli, the community of Marraconis Filaus Food, Slow Food Sardinia, Chef Roberto Petza, the school of haute cuisine Academy House Puddu, various other professionals and specialized, voluntary associations and local and not.

Within the Festival there will be a special event or a concert by Stefano Bollani “Piano Solo” to be held in Siddington August 4 at 19.
