Venerdì 26 luglio ore 19 con la mostra Piranesi ritrovato e buona musica. Arte, cinema, musica ogni sera al Teatro Civico.

Venerdì 26 luglio, alle ore 19.00, il primo aperitivo della stagione al Teatro Civico in Castello, con la seconda tappa cittadina della mostra “Piranesi ritrovato” per offrire anche ai turisti che circolano per il centro storico l’occasione di ammirare la collezione d’arte cittadina del grande artista veneto.

Il progetto espositivo, reduce dal successo di ben tre mostre, tenutesi contemporaneamente al Museo di Belle Arti di Bilbao, al centro culturale il Ghetto e al Palazzo di Città di Cagliari, nasce dal fortunato ed inaspettato ritrovamento, nei cassetti della Biblioteca della Facoltà di Architettura, di un consistente nucleo di incisioni, tratte da lastre incise da Giovanni Battista Piranesi (1720 – 1778).

Il fondo da cui sono tratte le opere in mostra, non a caso conservato presso la Facoltà di
Architettura, fu acquisito con finalità didattiche, in coincidenza con una fase di rinascita
dell’incisione originale in Italia e in Europa e con l’affermazione, in Sardegna, di una “scuola” locale di incisione che vanta nomi quali Giuseppe Biasi, Mario Delitala, Stanis Dessy, Remo Branca, Carmelo Floris e Felice Melis Marini, attivi in campo xilografico e calcografico.

Nell’incantevole scenario del Teatro Civico, il percorso espositivo presenta al pubblico una parte interessantissima della vasta produzione del grande artista, incisore, acquafortista e architetto veneto, celebre per aver diffuso, con commossa ammirazione, in tutta Europa la grandiosità dell’architettura dell’antica Roma.

Sarà l’occasione per offrire agli ospiti il primo aperitivo estivo al Teatro Civico e ascoltare buona musica.

Il teatro aprirà da venerdì 26 tutti i giorni con serate speciali fino al 26 settembre:
lunedì: suggestive visite guidate a Castello;
mercoledì: rassegna di cinema argentino;
giovedì: reading, performance e musica;
venerdì: aperitivi ad arte con interventi musicali;
domenica: rassegna cinematografica;

The exhibition, fresh from the success of three exhibitions, which were held simultaneously at the Museum of Fine Arts in Bilbao, the Ghetto to the cultural center and the Palace of the City of Cagliari, arises from the unexpected and fortunate discovery, in the drawers of the Library of the Faculty of Architecture , a substantial collection of engravings, taken from engraved plates by Giovanni Battista Piranesi (1720-1778).

The fund from which it derives the works on display, not surprisingly kept at the Faculty of
Architecture, was acquired for teaching purposes, coinciding with a period of rebirth
Original engraving in Italy and Europe and with the statement, Sardinia, a “school” local engraving boasting names such as Giuseppe Biasi, Mario Delitala, Stanis Dessy, Remo Branca, Carmelo Floris and Felice Melis Marini, active field in woodcut and copperplate.

In the enchanting scenery of the Civic Theatre, the exhibition offers the public a very interesting part of the vast production of the great artist, engraver, etcher and Venetian architect, famous for having spread, with deep admiration, in all the grandeur of the architecture of Europe ‘ ancient Rome.

Will be an opportunity to provide guests with the first summer aperitif at the Civic Theatre and listen to good music.
