Giovedì 26 settembre, alle ore 21.00, si concludono gli appuntamenti estivi al Teatro Civico in Castello con lo spettacolo “Su Contu de Sant’Efis”, spettacolo di narrazione con musiche di scena scritto e interpretato da Gianluca Medas con l’accompagnamento del Trio Baska (Andrea Congia – chitarra classica; Massimo Loriga – sax tenore e soprano, clarinetto, flauto traverso, sulitu, trunfa e armonica a bocca; Arrogalla – live electronics).

La vita del Santo più amato dai sardi sarà ripercorsa, tra agiografia, storia e devozione, attraversando i sentieri dell’immaginario popolare e delle vicende della nostra Isola: dalla peste del 1652, passando per il tentativo di invasione francese, arrivando fino ai bombardamenti della seconda guerra mondiale, che la storia insegna colpirono pesantemente anche il Teatro Civico.

Al termine dello spettacolo il Trio Baska si esibirà dal vivo con brani tratti dal proprio repertorio.
Nel corso della serata, gli storici dell’arte dell’Associazione Orientare accompagneranno gli ospiti in una visita guidata alla mostra “Piranesi ritrovato”.

The life of the saint most loved by the Sardinians will be revisited, including hagiography, history and devotion, through the paths of the popular and the events of our island: the plague of 1652, through the French invasion attempt, reaching up to the bombing of the world War II, that history teaches also heavily hit the Civic Theatre.

At the end of the show Baska Trio will be performing live with songs from their repertoire.
During the evening, art historians Orient of the Association accompany guests on a guided tour of the exhibition “Piranesi found.”
