All’interno dell’European Jazz Expo 2013, grande anteprima di Creuza de Mà, il festival dedicato ai rapporti fra musica e cinema che si tiene da sette estati a Carloforte, il paese sull’isola di San Pietro, di fronte alla costa sudoccidentale sarda.

Venerdì 26 luglio, alle 19,00 nel Foyer del Teatro Lirico di Cagliari, Goran Bregovic incontrerà il pubblico per raccontare il suo rapporto con il cinema, la sua carriera di compositore di musica per film che nasce dal sodalizio con Emir Kusturica e che raggiunge il grande successo con il film Underground (Palma d’oro a Cannes) fino a consacrarlo ambasciatore dei ritmi e delle melodie balcaniche nel mondo.

L’incontro è presentato da Gianfranco Cabiddu, direttore artistico del festival Creuza de Mà, e condotto da Riccardo Giagni, musicologo e compositore, autore di colonne sonore.

Il festival Creuza de Mà – musica per cinema, che dopo un’anteprima a Cagliari, il 5 settembre (protagonista Michael Nyman in concerto), dal 13 al 15 settembre vivrà a Carloforte al sua settima edizione, fa parte del circuito Le Isole del Cinema, il consorzio dei quattro festival che si tengono in altrettante isole della Sardegna, ciascuno contraddistinto da un proprio tema specifico: la messa in scena e la regia per Una notte in Italia di Tavolara, la recitazione per il festival La valigia dell’attore di La Maddalena, la scrittura e la sceneggiatura per Pensieri e Parole dell’Asinara.
