Il trio Ammentos nasce a Sant’Antioco nel settembre del 2011.
Il gruppo Ammentos è formato da tre musicisti: Daniela Casu alla voce, M° Diego Raspa alla chitarra classica e Alan Calabrò alla chitarra acustica. Le finalità della formazione sono quelle di far vivere la lingua sarda attraverso l’uso della musica interpretando e riarrangiando i brani tradizionali, creandone dei nuovi e ricercare nuove sonorità in canzoni di altre culture etniche come ad esempio il fado portoghese.

Daniela Casu nasce a Oristano, il 16 Novembre del 1966.

La sua esperienza canora inizia a 13 anni prestando la propria voce nel coro della parrocchia. Il trasferimento presso Sant’Antioco la porta nel 1993 a conoscere la Corale Sulcitana dove canta tuttora spaziando dalla musica rinascimentale fino al pop rivisitato per coro dal maestro Lorenzo Zonca. Per quattro anni ha seguito lezioni di tecnica vocale presso la scuola civica di musica di Sant’Antioco con l’insegnante Daniela Bianchi. Grazie all’Associazione culturale “Sant’Antioco abbraccia il mare”, nel Luglio 2011, ha avuto modo di organizzare ed esibirsi in uno spettacolo-ricordo dedicato alla cantante sarda Marisa Sannia. Questa occasione per lei esperienza di conoscenza e sviluppo del canto in lingua sarda l’ha portata alla sperimentazione che in questo momento sta realizzando con i chitarristi Diego Raspa e Alan Calabrò con i quali ha formato il gruppo “Ammentos” dove esegue brani tradizionali della propria terra e brani di fado portoghese.

Alan Calabro’ nasce a Milano nel 1972.

Ha iniziato a suonare la chitarra da autodidatta all’età di 16 anni dedicandosi contemporaneamente sotto la guida di suo nonno diplomato in Oboe allo studio della lettura, teoria ed armonia musicale. Nel 1991 entra a far parte della formazione THE SHUTTLES suonando un repertorio rock anni 60-70 esibendosi in numerose piazze. Nel 1995 fonda il gruppo Dionison con il quale si è esibito in diversi contesti musicali vincendo per tre anni di seguito il festival musicale regionale di San Giovanni Suergiu. Nel 2000 inizia lo studio della chitarra classica sotto la guida del M° Riccardo Carta presso la Scuola Civica di Sant’Antioco. Nel 2002 inizia lo studio della chitarra Jazz partecipando ai seminari Sant’Anna Arresi Jazz sotto la guida dei chitarristi Garrison Fewell e Mark Ribot, contemporaneamente frequenta una Masterclass Jazz con il percussionista Billy Cobham. Nel 2010 fonda assieme al M° Diego Raspa il gruppo Andara dove inizia ad assaporare le sonoritá inebrianti della musica etnica. Attualmente suona nella formazione Ammentos con il M° Diego Raspa e la cantante Daniela Casu eseguendo brani tradizionali della musica sarda rivisitati armonicamente e brani della tradizione Portoghese.

Diego Raspa è nato a Oristano nel 1976.

Inizia lo studio della chitarra da autodidatta da adolescente coltivando lo studio della musica classica e moderna. Durante gli studi nella facoltà di Lettere Moderne (nella quale si è laureato nel 2004) partecipa ad un corso universitario di chitarra tenuto dal Maestro Riccardo Carta per conto della Scuola Civica di Cagliari. Da quel momento intraprende gli studi classici in modo serio e costante, prenderà il Diploma del Conservatorio nel 2008 a Terni. Ha suonato dal vivo con diverse formazioni di generi musicali diversi. Ha partecipato a numerosi eventi suonando musica da camera in duo insieme al M° Vanessa Cardia al flauto o in trio insieme al M° Vanessa Cardia al flauto e M° Marzia Pinna all’oboe. In alcuni concerti ha suonato insieme al duo Atzinganos (Roberto Bernardini e Bruna pintus) eseguendo un repertorio di musica brasiliana, tango argentino e fado portoghese. Comincia a suonare musica in lingua sarda dal 2008 per la manifestazione “Sant’Antioco Abbraccia il Mare” arrangiando alcune composizioni originali insieme al M° Federico Melis. Attualmente suona nella formazione Ammentos con Alan Calabrò e la cantante Daniela Casu eseguendo brani tradizionali della musica sarda rivisitati armonicamente e brani della tradizione Portoghese.

The trio was born in Ammentos Sant’Antioco in September 2011.
The group consists of three musicians Ammentos: Daniela Casu vocals, Maestro Diego Raspa the classical guitar and Alan Calabrò the acoustic guitar. The objectives of the training are the ones to bring to life the Sardinian language through the use of music playing and rearranging traditional songs, creating new ones and search for new sounds in songs of other ethnic cultures such as Portuguese fado.

Casu Daniela was born in Oristano, 16 November 1966.

Her singing experience began 13 years providing their voice in the choir of the parish. The transfer to the port in 1993 Sant’Antioco to know where the choir sings Sulcitana still ranging from Renaissance music to pop revisited for choir by the master Lorenzo Zonca. Alan Calabro ‘was born in Milan in 1972.

In 2000 he began studying classical guitar under the guidance of M ° Riccardo Carta at the Civic School of Sant’Antioco. In 2002 he began studying jazz guitar participating in the workshops Sant’Anna Arresi Jazz under the leadership of guitarist Garrison Fewell and Mark Ribot, at the same time he attended a master class with jazz drummer Billy Cobham. In 2010 he founded together with Maestro Diego Raspa group Andara where he began to savor the intoxicating sounds of ethnic music. He currently plays in the formation Ammentos with Maestro Diego Raspa and singer Daniela Casu performing songs traditional Sardinian music harmonically and revisited traditional Portuguese songs.

Diego Rasp was born in Oristano in 1976.

He began studying the guitar by himself as a teenager cultivating the study of classical and modern music. During his studies in the Faculty of Humanities (where he graduated in 2004) participated in a college course taught by guitar maestro Riccardo Charter on behalf of the Civic School of Cagliari. From that moment he began his classical studies in a serious and constant, take the Diploma of the Conservatory in 2008 in Terni. He has played live with various groups of different musical genres. He has participated in numerous events playing chamber music duo with Maestro Vanessa Cardia flute trio or with the M ° Vanessa Cardia flute and oboe Maestro Marzia fin. In some concerts he played with the duo Atzinganos (Roberto Bernardini and Bruna Pintus) performing a repertoire of Brazilian music, Argentine tango and Portuguese fado. Started playing music in the Sardinian language since 2008 for the event “Sant’Antioco Embrace the Sea” arranging some original compositions along with the Maestro Federico Melis.
