Fourth round with a series of films about motherhood, within the project “Matryoshka”. Is projected “American Life” by Sam Mendes (USA / UK, 2009) 98 ‘

Plot: Married for years, Burt and Verona live in Colorado and expecting the birth of a child. To find the “right place” where it born and grow, start looking for relatives and friends to help them. The 5th film Mendes (director of “American Beauty”) is a comedy travel in ways that reflect disenchanted and fun (with some implications’ anxiety) on the theme: what it will mean to start a family in the United States in 2009. No lack of references to the neuroses and hypocrisy with which they deal the two protagonists (gregarious and good), dealing with ways of thinking and living than the other, but the general tone, moving the final included, is lightweight, supported by a ‘setting realistic and credible.
