ALMOND FESTIVAL – BARESSA – 8 TO 9 SEPTEMBER

The City of Baressa organizes”” Almond Festival, an event now in its TWENTY-FIRST edition.

The event will take as a theater in the streets, portals and courtyards of the historic center of the small village of Baressa, to give an opportunity to the tourists to visit an old town that still retains significant architectural elements of a reality rural poor, such as cobbled road surface, the prospectus and the ancient gates of access to houses and Museum” House”.

The”” House Museum, located in the heart of the historic center, consists of an old building dating back to the second half of the nineteenth century completely renovated and furnished with furniture poor peasant art of the time.

Born to retrieve and preserve an important historical record, it is now experienced by the residents of the small community as a symbol, which is typical of the experience of generations of inhabitants of Baressa. On the occasion of the Feast of the Almond 2012:

1. Will be open to visiting tourists:
