AL VIA A NUORO I CORSI INVERNALI DI JAZZ 2014START IN NUORO THE WINTER COURSES JAZZ 2014

Al via a Nuoro l’undicesima edizione dei corsi invernali del Seminario Jazz organizzati dall’Assessorato alla Cultura del Comune e dall’Ente Musicale di Nuoro: questa domenica (16 marzo), la Scuola Civica di Musica “Antonietta Chironi”, in via Mughina, apre i battenti al primo dei cinque appuntamenti didattici in programma tra qui e maggio.

Si comincia alle 10 (e si va avanti fino alle 13) con le prime lezioni di teoria e strumento; nel pomeriggio, dalle 15, spazio alle prove aperte di gruppo e poi via alle classi di musica d’insieme. A guidare gli allievi, il corpo docente già in cattedra nella passata edizione dei corsi e che conta nomi di primo piano dell’attuale scena jazzistica sarda: la cantante Francesca Corrias, il sassofonista Massimo Carboni, il trombettista Giovanni Sanna Passino, il chitarrista Angelo Lazzeri, il pianista Paolo Carrus, il contrabbassista Salvatore Maltana e, per le lezioni di teoria, Giovanni Agostino Frassetto, pianista, flautista, compositore e arrangiatore nonché responsabile artistico dei corsi. L’unica novità riguarda la classe di batteria, che da questa edizione è affidata a Gianni Filindeu.

Prossimi appuntamenti con i corsi invernali di jazz: domenica 30 marzo, domenica 13 aprile e, a maggio, nei weekend del 10 e 11, e del 24 e 25. Cambio di data per la masterclass del clarinettista Gabriele Mirabassi: inizialmente prevista per sabato 24 maggio, sarà invece anticipata al 10 maggio.

Anche per questa edizione le quote di iscrizione restano invariate: 35 euro per ogni singolo appuntamento, 100 euro per l’intero corso. 100 Euro per l’intero corso inclusa la masterclassAt the start of the eleventh edition in Nuoro winter courses of the Jazz Seminar organized by the Cultural Department of the City and by the Ente Musicale di Nuoro this Sunday (16 March), the Municipal Music School ” Chironi Antoinette ” , in Mughina , opens its doors to the first of five events in the educational program between here and May.

It starts at 10 ( and it goes up to 13) with the first lessons of theory and tool in the afternoon , from 15 space to the open rehearsals of the group and then off to classes of ensemble music . To guide the students , teachers already in the classroom in the last edition of the courses and counts prominent names of the jazz scene Sardinian singer Francesca Corrias , saxophonist Massimo Carboni , trumpeter John Sanna Passino , guitarist Angelo Lazzeri the pianist Paolo Carrus , bassist Salvatore Maltana and for theory lessons, John Augustine Frassetto , pianist, flutist , composer and arranger as well as artistic director of the courses. The only novelty is the class of the battery, which, this year is headed by Gianni Filindeu .

Upcoming events with winter courses of jazz : Sunday, March 30 , Sunday 13 April and in May, the weekend of 10 and 11 , and 24 and 25. Change of date for the master clarinetist Gabriele Mirabassi : originally scheduled for Saturday, May 24 , will be brought forward to May 10.

This edition of the fees remain the same : 35 € for each appointment , 100 EUR for the whole course .
