Anche quest’anno faremo rotta a Seui per una manifestazione ritenuta da tutti tra le più belle e suggestive della Sardegna, Su Prugadoriu!

La festa richiama alla memoria l’usanza dei bambini di andare per le case chiedendo un’offerta per le anime del Purgatorio, al fine di alleviare le loro pene.
Ma l’altro nome della manifestazione è “Nuscus e saboris antigus”, perché sarà possibile visitare gli antichi “magasinus” dove degustare e bere le bontà locali e ammirare le lavorazioni artigianali.
L’atmosfera che si vive è quella del borgo medievale, tra luci soffuse e antiche tradizioni; il tutto accompagnato da mostre, escursioni, laboratori e musica per le strade.
Noi ci arriveremo per l’ora di pranzo e ci staremo fino alle prime ore della sera, per ammirare la manifestazione quando il buio ne esalterà il suo fascino.

The feast recalls the custom of children going from house to house asking for a bid for the souls in Purgatory, in order to ease their pain.
But the other name of the event is “Nuscus and saboris Antigus” because you can visit the ancient “magasinus” where you can taste the local delicacies and drink and admire the craftsmanship.
The atmosphere that you live is one of the medieval village, with soft lighting and ancient traditions; all accompanied by exhibits, tours, workshops and music in the streets.
We will get there in time for lunch and we’d stay there until the early hours of the evening, to enjoy the event when the darkness will exalt its charm.
