The show begins with the famous fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm:
Hansel and Gretel, the children of a poor woodcutter who is no longer able to feed their families, have been carried out in the woods there, the two children are abandoned. Wandering through the forest, the brothers finally find a clearing, where they see a small house. Approach and, to my surprise, they discover that the house is all made of sweet that they, for the hungry, you start eating. While they are munching on the walls of marzipan, inside the house comes a little old lady. Very friendly, this offers to host the two brothers. Children, not knowing where to go, accepts appreciate your hospitality. But soon Gretel and her brother realize it is no longer free, but prisoners of a witch: the boy – too thin – is put fattening inside a cage, so as to put on a little ‘meat because it is destined to become the meal of the witch, determined to eat it as soon as possible. Gretel, who had to do the cleaning, it is free to move about the house fails with a trick to push the witch into the stove, killing her. Free Hansel and thus, the two children, conquered the goods of the dead, they return home from their parents now rich and without economic problems for the future.
