1.618 – The Golden Number “by Ugo Nespolo in Cagliari

The Publishing House UTET and art gallery The Board, via dei Pisani 1 in Cagliari, capital of Sardinia lead in one of the most famous and eclectic contemporary Italian artists, Ugo Nespolo, offering 5 to 28 October the exhibition “1.618 – The number d’Oro “.

A major exhibition which has as protagonists the 20 works of “art book” dedicated to the Master of the famous and fascinating figure that, since ancient times, are entrusted with the secrets of beauty and harmony. Geometrical proportions expressing can be found in the fact the great masterpieces of art and architecture, from the Parthenon in Athens to Botticelli’s Venus, the Cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris at the Mona Lisa.

Like the great artists of the past Ugo Nespolo did not escape the charm of the “golden ratio” or “divine”, resulting in this book-a work of art published by UTET and continues today the tradition of the great painters 800 and 900 as Dali, Matisse and Chagall. A “book artist” consists of 20 screenprints in colors, large format 45×70 cm gathered in an elegant box-sculpture that the public can admire Cagliari for the first time, exhibited in the Gallery Notice Board.
