NATIONAL DAY URBAN TREKKING – CAGLIARI – SATURDAY OCTOBER 27

Cagliari adheres to the national day of walking through town, scheduled for Saturday, October 27, which is titled “Stories of common men and women are not common.” The resolution, adopted on proposal of yet Argiolas, puts the city in a circuit which aims to seasonal adjustment of the flow of visitors and has had in recent years great emphasis also on national and international media.

Urban trekking is a new way of doing sports tourism, that from the City of Siena (who designed the initiative in 2002) has involved dozens of capitals throughout Italy: the goal is to discover the city as spaces to walk, slowly, looking for places that are not known, their identity and their memory.
