TOUCH THE SKY WITH A FINGER – EXMA’ – CAGLIARI – 4 TO 7 OCTOBER

“Touch the sky with a finger” is the title of the exhibition of pictures and graphs of Alessandro Sanna and Massimiliano Tappari that will be held in Cagliari October 4 to 7 at the 7th Festival of Children’s Literature Tuttestorie “The Incomprehensible! Stories, visions and books for dumb magnificent. ” Is a project of artistic residence born in Cagliari in June 2012 and arrives all’ExMà (via San Lucifer 71 – Room PUA) in the great exhibition “I did not understand a tube”, edited by Teatro Lirico di Cagliari. The game was to try characters hidden in the landscape, in order to photograph them and make them the protagonists of a story. On display sixteen pairs of pictures accompanied by many small plates watercolor that tell stories without words inspired by the characters photographed. From Milan to Zafferana, from Mantua to Cagliari, crossing the city to a crawl naked eye and with the intent to discover what we have under my nose all day, but the habit has made it almost invisible. Wander unprepared and without a predetermined goal, because when you know how it ends a story there listening to it more flavor. Then take pictures and we draw on it with the computer and graphics tablet. They create the image that is halfway between reality and fantasy, between heaven and earth, between digital and analog. Photographs or drawings are drawn photographed? What is the background and what is foreground? Where is the original copy? No one knows. Nor does he understand where you begin the work of one and the other ends. It is a game of looks and thoughts crossed that aims to stimulate the viewer to relate to the surrounding reality, because what seems an insignificant detail can be transformed into something poetic and universal. You do not need to be an artist, just the attention and the willingness to be surprised.
