EUROPEAN HERITAGE DAYS – CAGLIARI – 29 TO 30 SEPTEMBER

29 to 30 September the Ministry of Heritage and Culture renews the annual appointment with the European Heritage Days, sponsored by the Council of Europe to strengthen and promote dialogue and exchange, cultural, between the Member Countries .

The initiative, coordinated by the Regional territory for the cultural heritage and landscape of Sardinia, sees succession, in the two-day event organized by the ministerial institutions and other public and private institutions who generously acceded to the European Heritage Days helping to make the program more rich and interesting.

These initiatives are considered of special importance, as reported excellence:
• Cagliari: BAPSAE the Superintendency of Cagliari and Oristano offers conference Restoration of cement panel celebratory Eugenio Tavolara for the Palace of ENEL in Cagliari (September 29, 11:30 am) will present the results of the recent restoration of a material “modern” like cement, in a panel made by the distinguished artist Sassari, in its “last in”, experimented with new materials and techniques in celebratory works by allegorical language and almost abstract.
• Cagliari and Sassari: the Superintendence for Archaeological Heritage of Cagliari and Oristano, the Archaeological Museum, and that of Sassari and Nuoro, the Sanna Museum, organized a joint initiative of Archaeology One year (29 and 30 September from 9.00 to 20.00) , a continuous projection of movies that illustrate the actions of protection, excavation and exploitation made last year in Sardinia with the intention of making citizens more involved problems related to the protection of the archaeological heritage.
• La Maddalena: at Garibaldi in Caprera (September 29, 18:30), the Superintendence BAPSAE of Sassari and Nuoro offers the public the confidant and the daughter of General Garibaldi, an experiment between actors belonging to different companies, who will be challenged to reading a correspondence between Giuseppe Garibaldi and Espérance von Schwartz, with whom the hero had an intense exchange of letters full of admiration and esteem, a journey back in time with music.

Like every year, during the Days of the entrance will be free in the archaeological sites, monuments, museums and galleries, state-owned and non-state actors in the places that have joined the initiative.

Under the aegis of the Ministry for Heritage and Cultural Activities Earth is a conference “The recovery of wooden furniture of the church of Santa Chiara in Cagliari.
