TRIBUTE TO PIERO BELLUGI – S.SATURNINO CHURCH – CAGLIARI – 4 TO 7 SEPTEMBER
Goes on with the execution of skill and experience to express the most valid Tribute to Piero Bellugi, the summer festival organized by the Musical Encounters part of the Season “Sonus de Atongiu 2012″, which takes place in close collaboration with the Civic School “Rachel Luigi” Quartu, the Concert Society of Cagliari and the Foundation of the Opera House. The show debuted in Cagliari, Tuesday, September 4 at 20.30, in the Basilica of San Saturnino with a program entirely devoted to sonatas by Johann Sebastian Bach, performed by Attilio Motzo (Baroque violin) and Fabrizio Marchionni (Harpsichord).
While Wednesday ‘September 5th will be the turn of the duo-Piastrelloni Rachel, engaged in the performance of pages rare for cello and piano.
Thursday 6 September, the pianist Angela Oliviero will star in a “Hommage à Debussy”, the 150th anniversary of the birth of the great French composer. The conclusion of the review is carried out, Friday ‘September 7, the real tribute to Piero Bellugi, with the final concert of the students of the summer courses and Orchestra conducted by Piero Bellugi Peter Mianiti.
The Tribute to Piero Bellugi has been realized with the support of the Education of the Region of Sardinia, the Presidency and the Department of Culture and Entertainment of the Province of Cagliari, the Departments of Culture of the Municipality of Cagliari and Quartu Sant ‘Elena.
