1st EDITION OPEN STUDIOS IN CAGLIARI – CAGLIARI – 7 TO 9 SEPTEMBER

The 7th, 8th and 9th September will be held Edition of The Open Studios in Cagliari.
The initiative, which is based on what happens in other Italian cities, provides for the opening of 15 studies in contemporary art present in the historic district of Cagliari.
The meeting of one of the artists, David Siddle, and the Association Urban Center Cagliari did the project, which has as its main objective is to bring the public closer to the study of art and artistic activity professional.

Each evening will open with a lecture on art at the Teatro Mobile Bastion St. Remy from 19 to 20, with special guests like Pinuccio Sciola, Giorgio Pellegrini, Rosanna Rossi, Angelo Liberati and representatives of the Consortium and Camu Museum Nivola Orani.

Were involved in five major premises of the neighborhood: De Candia, the Coffee of the Spirits, the Libarium, the Cafe of the Arts and the Ritual. These will welcome over 40 artists that will be encountered in short and informal presentations of their work to the public, with the help of video projections and interspersed with musical performances of the highest level.
As far as the music, the Association Euterpe Music Initiative participates with the Artistic Director of Music, and over 50 participating musicians will perform in local sovracitati, Palazzo Siotto and final concerts planned at the close of each day, the stage at the Teatro Mobile pm 23.

By partnering with S’Umbra Photo Projects will be launched a photo contest with prizes, relating to the event itself.

The event “Open Studios Cagliari 2012″ has been made possible thanks to the work and the commitment made at no charge to all participants, not only by the staff of the UC Cagliari, the artistic director and artistic director David Siddle Luisa music Sclocchis of Euterpe, but also on the availability absolutely free yield by 52 artists and well over 50 musicians involved.
