SUMMER IN THE MUSEUMS OF CAGLIARI -APPOINTMENTS 6 TO 10 AUGUST

The summer activities of the Civic Museums of Cagliari continue with numerous activities aimed at children and adults in a busy schedule of events and educational activities designed and organized in collaboration with the Orient.

Monday, August 6 the appointment for the children is the Municipal Art Gallery, at 18:00, with “Nocturne”, a creative workshop inspired by the paintings in the permanent collections and listening to music. At 20.00, “Speaking of her” adult audiences will be escorted to a visit focused on portraits of women exposed, followed by a moment of dialogue and exchange between actors and audience.

Wednesday, August 8th, at 18.00, the Museum of Siamese art, children will be escorted to the discovery of the adventurous life of Stephen Cardu Cagliari and collector of art treasures that he brought back from his long sojourn in the East. During the workshop, young visitors will be challenged to rebuild, using the technique of collage, the salient episodes of his life, to make a real diary.

The Museums participating in the event “Cagliari Nights Colored” which animates the Cagliari Thursday until 24.00 in the town center with shopping, music, antiques fairs and other initiatives.

Thursday, August 9, at 20.30, at the Galleria Comunale d’Arte is planning the fifth date with “Appetizers to Art”, a cycle of seven cultural appetizers that take place every Thursday in July and August, with the exception of week of August. The appetizers will cycle from time to time, protagonists of different forms of expression, so that art, music, theater and literature will meet in the beautiful Public Gardens. The formula that will successfully tested in previous editions: a fresh and tasty drink will accompany the show. This Thursday, “Death of an uncommon artist”, a theater, edited and starred by Nunzio Caponio, interesting point for visiting theme focuses on the works of Umberto Boccioni, De Filippo Pisis, Felice Casorati and Francis Ciusa. While at 21.30, the Old Town Hall will take a guided tour inspired by the color of the fifth round, white.

Friday, August 10 is the time of the Ancient Town Hall where, to 18.00 after the children visited the exhibition “Art Space”, will take part in the workshop “The secrets of contemporary art.”
