Saturday, July 28, 2012 Aloe happy associations, Sardinia Environment, Friends of Sardinia and Cagliari organize Cavities “Sindria Party at the hill of St. Ignatius” in the cape of Sant ‘Elia, the rediscovery of military forts and towers, tunnels, and scenic viewpoints aromas and flavors of nature

Participants, at 20, you ritroverrano the parking lot of St. Elias Lazzaretto, then you will take the path of the disused quarry up to the plots of anti-aircraft batteries situated between the lighthouse and the fort of St. Ignatius and visit the underground tunnels world War II.

We will then proceed to the fort of St. Elias, placed at 94 meters, an example of military architecture. During the tour you can admire the unspoiled landscape nestled among the plants of the Mediterranean and the scents of herbs such as thyme, wormwood and Helichrysum.

A walk to discover a little world where history and nature blend together in a single scene of striking beauty.

At the end, you will enjoy a slice of SINDRIA (WATERMELON) and one can enjoy a liqueur made from herbs including the promontory known liquor absinth.

Then, final bath in the crystal clear sea beach of the Rock.

We recommend comfortable clothing including shoes and practical for rough terrain as well as a stack.
