FORRO’ ERVA RASTEIRA – JEWISH GHETTO – THURSDAY JULY 12
THURSDAY ‘July 12 from 20:00 to 02:00 at the Municipal Center of art and culture “THE GHETTO” Via Santa Croce 18 in Cagliari, the Association of Eclectic Connection presents the second appointment with the Forrò “Erva Rasteira”.
In this hot early summer, the beautiful terrace of the Ghetto comes Forrò to put coals on the fire of your senses!
Forró is a musical genre typical of the North-east of Brazil which gives the rhythm to the life of men, soul party, accompany the work, cheer the markets.
Very busy and overwhelming, it is played live by orchestras composed of different elements with accordion, guitar, drums, bass, drums, triangle, tambourine (pandeiro) and other instruments both traditional and modern. This music was brought to the forefront of the national scene in the 40s by Brazilian Luiz Gonzaga.
Today, both in Brazil and abroad, enjoys great popularity. Many clubs and night clubs shall be exclusively dedicated to dance floors Forrò.
The Association of Eclectic Connection, has Forrò “Erva Rasteira”: a selection of songs, inspired by research into artists involved, which will take you on a journey through the rich universe frenetic rhythm and melody of traditional Brazilian music, played by the group “Erva RASTEIRA “(Joseph Baldino guitar, accordion Antonello Charter, Walter Reis percussion and vocals).
To get to the heart of the atmosphere in Brazil, between a frevo and Forro, you can enjoy authentic feijoada, a delicious dish consisting of basmati rice, blacks beans, pork, and farofa vinagrete Brazilian.
Sangria, Aluar, and Ichnusa will help you to overcome shyness to invite to dance at last ‘a certain person’ …….. A PEOPLE IF ANY ‘LA! (A YES BIRI!)
