DETAILS – PERSONAL EXHIBITION ROBERTA CONGIU – LIBRARY VIA SULIS – 13 TO 20 JULY

Friday, July 13 at 19, in the spectacular setting of the new bookshop on The Library of Sulis, inaugurates Details, a solo exhibition of Roberta Congiu.
The exhibition will be open until Friday 20 July.

The exhibition brings together works on paper made by the artist who – who won the contest for the White Pages Yellow Pages Author’s Seat for the region of Sardinia in the edition 2008/2009 with the photographic work The Meeting – has been pursuing for some time his personal research on the representation of the human face, developing a graphic-style hyper excursus through which, at first glance, his works – which often depicts the friendly faces – look deceptively photographic reproductions in black and white. Illusion that disappears the moment, with less superficial glance, the game of warp and weft in-depth analysis reveals, a psychological study diligently, deep and accurate portraits of the subjects that playfully lend their faces to solid light and shade created by using simple tools such as pencils, graphite and ballpoint pens more often.
