BLACK SHEEP FESTIVAL OF ARBUS – 6 TO 8 JULY

From Friday 6 to Sunday, 8 July 2012 will host the Festival of the black sheep of Arbus.

Schedule of Events:

Arbus – July 6, 2012

10.00: Presentation of the project Vagal, enhancement of production and of rural areas, and the conference “The role of biodiversity: the black sheep of Arbus” at the former Mount Granatico in Piazza Immacolata.;
18.00: Presentation and tasting of dairy products of the black sheep of Arbus by the agency Laore – Angelo Concas;

Ingurtosu (Pitzinnurri) – July 7, 2012

8.30: The flock in flock to explore the paths of the black sheep of Arbus: Tour the farms that host local biodiversity (free participation);
9:30 to 19:00: skeet shooting contest organized by the armor in the town of Arbus Cecchetto Quartana;

Ingurtosu (Pitzinnurri) – July 8, 2012

9:30 to 19:00: Race of shooting a ball to the shape of a boar by the armor Cecchetto of current care in Arbus Quartana locations;
17.30: Opening of the exhibition booths of crafts and local products;
18.30: Workshop on traditional cheese making techniques and tasting of dishes prepared by Arbus’s black sheep and goat breeders;
19.00: Animation.

You can visit the LAG to Ingurtosu Well, the exhibition of Entomology and Villa Ida. In Arbus you can enjoy the Sardinian knife Museum, art gallery Floriserra (reservation only), an exhibition of underwater archeology (reservation only) and the dolmen Cugui. For guided tours please contact:
