Less than three thousand inhabitants, the center of Sardinia, not far from Macon. Here, the chain Marghine is Bolotana, the small town in the province of Nuoro, which for some years now it has become the center of the international metal music. And ‘here that every summer will meet fans of the genre to follow a festival was born from the passion of a group of young people who after having founded the cultural association Rock’ N Bol, for years trying to enliven its territory by using the vehicle universal language of music. And the passion for Metal, in all its forms, has been realized with the help of the association Kuntra live & events, that strong of a decade of experience in live events throughout the region, has managed to become Bolotana and Rock ‘n Bol the location of the only international metal festivals in Sardinia and the event aims to establish itself among the most important of its kind in all Italy. Bolotana like Wacken Open Air, or the Gods of Metal. Without presumptions, or delusions of grandeur, the line up of festivals, this year even more, is worthy of the greatest world events like this. After the success of last year which saw the band on the stage of the Brazilian metal band Sepultura in this edition of the Rock ‘n Bol Metal Fest as headliner has two American bands who literally wrote the history of Metal World: Overkill and Exodus. The formula in this fourth edition of the festival is enriched and doubles: two days of concerts, band on stage six, one hundred people involved in the organization. Great space for the musical reality sardines, the organizers have chosen to bring to the stage some of the island’s most representative band of the Metal scene, just to signify the strong bond that Rock ‘n Bol with the territory and the great desire to see the emergence music made in Sardinia too often sacrificed in contexts that do not allow the evolution and spread over the Tyrrhenian Sea.
