TOUR BOAT IN THE GULF OF OROSEI – 23 JUNE
The Gulf of Orosei according to Regional Law Park was established in 1998 to preserve the pristine environment rich in animal and plant species. The coast is about 40 km and is characterized by impressive limestone ramparts covered with forests of oak and juniper trees and lush and diversified Mediterranean vegetation, a pristine and unspoiled nature. We will have a chance to see this show on board a comfortable boat. After crossing the southern border with Capo Monte Santo, sail along the coast to see the coves, cliffs, pinnacles and caves that nature gives us. Suddenly we find ourselves with the nose to look amazed a succession of natural monuments of Sardinia, 143 meters above sea level is the height of the pinnacle of Cala Golorizè, which saw the boat seem even more! Sergio, the pirate of the Gulf, our captain, a skilled navigator will be able to bring these rocks white sea blue, to creep into the wildest and hidden coves and his stories fail to revive within us the magic of ages past. We’ll tell you of rivers that shape the mountains to reach the sea, wind-bent juniper, of Saracens seeking landing, they build towers of Pisa, which hide the catch of fishermen, which gave the cave dwelling of seals in the recent past, the hungry cormorants and goats who risk their lives to lick the salt dried on the rocks. Will reveal the secrets of a harsh territory, of a sea sometimes impetuous and sometimes docile, very blue that you can not describe but only where you can dive or stay to admire. The captain and his brave men conquer us with their sympathy and we will find out how good the fish is eaten by boat in the shadow of an exclusive cove and we will surprise and spoil you with excellent seafood contamination with ogliastrine. How delicious the fried seafood …! And how nice to rest in the coves born from erosion of ancient caves now become small pebbles (called pisoliti, which are the pearls of the numerous caves) or swim in the azure waters of incomparable beauty. We will visit the Cave Fico created by a river that for millions of years has shaped the bowels of the earth leaving the long and convoluted tunnels. How exciting will see Cala Gabbiano, Cala Mariolu, Cala Lovers coves and many other lesser known but just as impressive. What a shame FAIL!
