MARK THE WIND THROUGH THE EYES OF THE MIND – EXMA’ – UNTIL 26 AUGUST

Yesterday, Friday, June 15 at 18.00 in Cagliari in the Hall of Times Square and outside the Municipal Center for Art and Culture Exmà, was opened to the public shows Mark the winds, through the eyes of the mind. The exhibition, curated by Simon Campus, offers mostly marble sculptures of medium and large size, belonging to different moments in the production of Anna Saba: some were made ​​specifically for the show, others take on a new life and additional value in this specific context . The exhibition aims to bring the artistic beauty of the blind and visually impaired. His research is to meditate on the properties of natural materials, especially marble, and the dialectical relationship between form and harmonic rough and smooth. Visitors can experience all the works on display, through a process that aims to break down barriers to physical and emotional. The exhibition will be staged all’Exmà, both in the Hall of times, and outside, where, in perfect harmony with the space, will be enhanced the environmental dimension of the works. The exhibition will remain open until Sunday, August 26. Anna Saba was born in Guspini. He completed his art studies. His approach to sculpture is mainly due to the influence of his grandfather in Tuscany. The start of production date back to the Eighties; participation in the artistic movement PLEXUS has led to more complex multimedia experiences. Numerous solo exhibitions and works acquired permanent collections.
