THE MARRIAGE OF FIGARO – LYRIC THEATRE OF CAGLIARI – FROM 22 JUNE

Friday, June 22 at 20.30 (session A), is staged the third round of the Opera and Ballet Theatre in 2012 the Cagliari Opera: The Marriage of Figaro, a comedy for music in four acts with a libretto by Lorenzo Da Ponte’s comedy The mariage de Figaro by Pierre-Augustin Caron de Beaumarchais, and music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (Salzburg, 1756 – Vienna, 1791).

The eighteenth-century musical masterpiece is presented to the public Cagliari, in a new production of the Lyric Theatre of Cagliari, which uses directed by Marina Bianchi, valuable collaborator, among others, of Giorgio Strehler, Eimuntas Nekrosius and Liliana Cavani, the scenes of Sabrina Cuccu and customs of Benjamin Fadda, respectively director of stage and foreman tailor the Lyric Theatre of Cagliari. The lighting design is by Giuseppe Di Iorio, while the movements choreographed by Tiziana Colombo.

The music director is, however, to Hubert Soudant, which is responsible for directing the Opera Orchestra and Chorus in one of the gems of the classical repertoire of Mozart, an area in which the relationship between the teams Cagliari and experienced Dutch manager has already had occasion to speak very brilliantly. The choir director is Marco Faelli. The keyboard conductor is Riccardo Leone.

Mozart’s masterpiece, represented for the first time, at the Burgtheater in Vienna on 1 May 1786, the city is missing from the stage since 1997, and proposes in their respective roles: Ugo Guagliardo (22, 27, 29, 1) / Laurent Kubla ( 23, 25) (Count Almaviva), Esther Andaloro (22, 27, 29, 1) / Lada Kyssykova (23, 25) (The Countess), Maria Grazia Schiavo (22, 27, 29, 1) / Manuela Bisceglie (23, 25) (Susanna), Domenico Balzani (22, 27, 29, 1) / Maurizio Lo Piccolo (23, 25) (Figaro), Annalisa Stroppa (Cherubino), Joan Donadini (Marcellina), Carmine Monaco (Don Bartolo), Krystian Adam (Don Basilio, Don Curzio), Arianna Donadelli (Barbarina), Jonathan Gilio (Antonio), Graziella Ortu (First peasant), Sara Lasio (Second peasant).

The understanding of the book is, in Le nozze di Figaro, and more important than ever, to facilitate this, as is tradition at the Cagliari Opera Theatre, the stage of the proscenium arch supertitles scorrerranno.
