STREETART – CAGLIARI JUNE 9 AT JULY 9

Over twenty artists from all over the island (mainly from Cagliari, Sassari and Nuoro but also) are arriving in Cagliari for the event dedicated to street art and urban art: Street Art from the street to the media, the great exhibition which will occupy the plaza Santa Gilla and its spaces between June 9 and July 9, 2012.
The event, organized by 8ARTS Culture and Communication and L’Unione Sarda, there is the ambitious goal to tell the view to isolate street and urban art through his characters and colorful in its many forms. From more traditional graffiti stencil, from posters to installations that transform the architecture, painting on large formats through the interventions of yarn bombing and guerrilla croket, the exhibition involving 16 artists and two collectives with diverse paths and modes of expression.
Considering that the space that will host the exhibition is the seat of the editorial board of Unione Sarda, Videolina and Radiolina, all artists will be contributed to the artistic reflection of a single theme: the media, information and communication.
