LE ROSSIGNOL – LYRIC THEATRE OF CAGLIARI – MAY 25
The second appointment with the work, performed Friday, May 25 at 20.30 (session A), is an original and fascinating diptych opera “Le Rossignol” by Igor Stravinsky (Oranienbaum today Lomonosov, 1882 – New York, 1971) and “Gianni Schicchi “by Giacomo Puccini (Lucca, 1858 – Brussels, 1924). The two small musical gems are proposed for the visual part, in two new productions of the Lyric Theatre of Cagliari from a set of four Greek artists, established mainly in the theater, which occur, for the first time in Cagliari: Thomas Moschopoulos (director), Dionysis Fotopoulos (sets and costumes), Lefteris Pavlopoulos (lights), Christos Papadopoulos (choreography), while the music director is, however, abruzzese Maurizio Colasanti, making his debut on the podium Cagliari, driving Orchestra and Chorus of the Opera House.
