CALASETTA TOUR – FRIDAY, MAY 25

As part of cultural tours organized by the University Institute for the Three Age Sardo (IUS Utes 3​​), in order to rediscover the origins, culture and history of our island, Friday, May 25 there will be a tour in Calasetta, in ‘island of S. Antioco.
You will be able to know the origins of this pretty town – the town’s honorary Province of Genoa – and admire the natural beauty, such as beaches and cliffs, and visit the Church of St. Maurice, Savoy Tower built to resist the invasions of pirates and the Museum of Modern Art. The tour will also visit the local winery with tasting of fine wines.
A lunchtime menu carattersitico the place-based tuna and pesto penne, spawning the fried seafood and fried fish platter.
PROGRAM
08.00 – Departure from Cagliari (T-Hotel) 09.30 am – Arrival in Calasetta and meeting with the guide. Walk through the historic center and visit the Church of St. Maurice, to the Museum of Contemporary Art, the Tower of Savoy 11.30 am – Visit to the winery, tasting 12.30 am – Visit to the beaches and cliffs: Sottotorre, Saline, Grand Beach and eats boats. 13.00 hrs – Lunch at Hotel Luci del Faro. Menu: Top of Bis – tuna and pesto penne, spawning shellfish; Second – fruttura mixed fish accompanied by salad, sweet – chocolate mousse. 15.00 – Walk in Old Town 17.00 – Return to Cagliari
