ROYAL – “IL TOSCANO”
The Royal restaurant has always been known to Cagliari as “The Tuscan” has always been for me a point of reference: excellent cuisine and abundant and good quality / price ratio. The menu consists of mixed starters of the house, a first choice among those of the day, a second (including the Florentine for 2 persons) with vegetables, fruit, cake, ice cream, coffee …… all for only 25 € per person …. a price that today is very competitive. Staff were always friendly and polite, reservations required because the place is always crowded. Rightly crowded given the quality of food.
You can choose between more like carpaccio and roast beef, chicken and rabbit in red or white sauce, duck, pheasant, filet en croute, beef and horse steaks, ravioli in butter and sage, the legendary summer panzanella as an appetizer, rolls and all culinary fantasies of the mother of Cynthia Paul, one of the most experienced cooks ever to Cagliari.
