SHUKRAN FESTIVAL 2014
Sabato 25 ottobre 2014 (fino a domenica 26 ottobre 2014) prende il via la VI edizione del SHUKRAN FESTIVAL, l’unico Festival di Danze Orientali e Cultura Sarda in Sardegna organizzato dall’Associazione Afrodanza di Donatella Padiglione e Carla Desogus, che si terrà presso la location di Via Molise 2 a Cagliari, sede dell’associazione.
Un appuntamento imperdibile che vede per il sesto anno consecutivo la presenza di illustri maestri quali Faren Ben Azira (per la prima volta in Sardegna), Pamela BellyDancer, Gennaro Festa, Carla Desogus, Donatella Padiglione, che per DUE giorni si alterneranno alla guida dei numerosi stages (ciascuno della durata di 90 minuti), per una full immersion nelle danze etniche.
Novità di quest’anno è lo stage di Danza Greca tenuto dalla giovane maestra Aliki.

GRAN GALÀ SHOW
La giornata di domenica 26 ottobre 2014 si concluderà con il GRAN GALÀ SHOW, che si terrà presso il Cesar’s Hotel in Via Darwin 2/5 a Cagliari a partire dalle 20.30 e che vedrà protagonisti i maestri ospiti e il corpo di ballo dello SHUKRAN FESTIVAL: un momento unico dove tra un piatto di fregula sarda alla mediterranea (verdure e frutti di mare) ed un bicchiere di vino (al costo di 15 euro a persona) si potrà assistere ad uno spettacolo indimenticabile.
La serata sarà presentata dall’ attrice e drammaturga Francesca Falchi.

FAREN BEN AZIRA
Faren Ben Azira è uno dei pochi danzatori orientali uomini in Italia. La sua carriera artistica ha avuto inizio nel 2001 guidato da un profondo interesse per la cultura araba. Tale passione lo ha portato a frequentare la Facoltà di Studi Arabo-Islamici e del Mediterraneo – presso Università degli studi di Napoli L’Orientale, mentre, in contemporanea, iniziava lo studio della danza orientale. Dopo una serie di lezioni private è approdato all’Accademia bellini di Napoli dove ha seguito il corso di Azira Imman. Faren ha immediatamente sviluppato il suo incredibile talento e si è messo in evidenza per il suo stile di danza unico. Successivamente ha iniziato a studiare danza classica e jazz in diverse scuole. Nel 2003 ha cominciato ad insegnare danza orientale a Napoli. Si è poi recato in Egitto dove ha incontrato Randa Kamel danzatrice virtuosa ed innovativa, della quale è stato allievo, arricchendo così la sua conoscenza della danza orientale. Faren Ben Azira ha preso parte a diversi shows televisivi e film italiani. Attualmente insegna danza orientale a Napoli, tiene stages in tutta Italia, è tra gli insegnanti di importanti festival di danza orientale ed ospite di molti festival europei. È inoltre direttore artistico ed organizzativo di eventi quali il festival “Stelle a Napoli”.

PAMELA BELLYDANCER
Pamela é una danzatrice del ventre proveniente dalla Argentina.
Il suo interesse per la danza è iniziato quando era molto piccola, la sua formazione é iniziata con lo studio di danza classica con Teresita Campana (Professoressa del Instituto di Arte del Teatro Colón di Bs As), danza jazz con Karina Roldán e Laura Roatta. Ma le sue grande passioni sono il Tango, un ballo intrinseco della sua cultura porteña, del quale è interprete professionista, e la grandissima passione per la Danza Orientale. Pamela ha studiato Danza del ventre con Saida la migliore danzatrice argentina dalla quale ha preso ispirazione per dare al proprio ballo qualità artistica, sensualità, femminilità, carisma e tutta la sua conoscenza per le danze egiziane. Attualmente, Pamela continua a studiare con Saida ed altri rappresentanti della danza orientale. Pamela ha sviluppato una didattica d´insegnamento nelle sue esperienze lavorative in Argentina e in Europa con seminari e spettacoli di danza orientale. Attualmente Pamela balla ed insegna tra l’Argentina e l’Italia.

GENNARO FESTA
Inizia come danzatore di alto livello nel Latino Americano, dove consegue delle vittorie nelle gare di federazione in Sardegna. Comincia lo studio delle danze orientali sotto la guida della maestra Maryem Paglia (Rome) e più avanti con la maestra Ana Saeeda danzatrice Bellydance Superstars .Continua a studiare i differenti stili di danza orientale, folk lorica, popolare e Raks Sharki, Trasferitosi in Francia ha lavorato come ballerino orientale per i migliori teatri del mondo , la cigale,alhambra e istitute du monde arabe..

CARLA DESOGUS
Proviene dalla danza classica e dopo alcuni anni di studio viene riconosciuta F.I.D.S. (Federazione Italiana Danze Sportive) come maestro tecnico in danze orientali nonché giudice di gara. Si specializza in sbarra a terra orientale, disciplina che unisce la tecnica classica propedeutica (cioè tutti gli esercizi che si eseguono a terra) con elementi di danza orientale. Insegna nella scuola Afrodanza di Cagliari. Consegue nel dicembre 2008 l’abilitazione all’insegnamento delle danze orientali presso il Centre Artistique Zaza Hassan di Parigi.Ospite in numerosi programmi televisivi alla Rai” Punto su di te”condotto da Claudio Lippi e a Canale 5 “Cultura Moderna” condotto da Teo Mammucari. Ha collaborato negli ultimi anni per SKY a Milano,ha danzato come ospite a Fasano per sfilate di moda ,insieme a due componenti della trasmissione “Amici”. Inoltre si è esibita a Montesilvano ( L’AQUILA) a favore dell’ASISTOM,a Il Cairo e a Marrakech durante incontri culturali con gruppi internazionali.Attualmente sta sviluppando la tecnica dello stile argentino con la maestra Pamela bellydancer,senza abbandonare il tradizionale egiziano.

DONATELLA PADIGLIONE
Laureata in lingue e letterature straniere è specializzata in danze etniche (afro e medio –orientali) e dirige la Scuola Afrodanza dal 1981. nel 1980 dopo annni di danza classica si dedica allo studio delle danze tradizionali sia africane che medio-orientali e approfondisce gli studi durante gli anni con grandi maestri in Egitto Turchia Tunisia e marocco. Ha svolto i uoi studi principalmente in Egitto con Raquia Hassan e con Hassan Kailli e in Marocco e Tunisia con Leila Hadad. Nel corso di questi anni sono state molteplici le esibizioni sia in Sardegna che nella penisola (Rai 1) sempre con ottimi riscontri da parte del pubblico e della stampa che più volte le ha dedicato ampi articoli. Nel corso del 2005 consegue l’abilitazione all’insegnamento delle danze orientali presso il Centre Artistique Zaza Hassan di Parigi. Inoltre viene riconosciuta come maestra tecnico in danze orientali e giudice in gara della F.I.D.S. (Federazione Italiana Danze Sportive) e membro nazionale della Commissione Danza Orientale della F.I.D.S.Ha tradotto in italiano il libro DANZA IN EGITTO scritto dal coreografo egiziano Aladin El Kholy.AFRODANZA DONATELLA CARLA HALL and DESOGUS

Saturday, October 25, 2014 (until Sunday, October 26, 2014) kicks off the sixth edition of the SHUKRAN FESTIVAL, the only Festival of Oriental Dance and Culture in Sardinia Sardinia organized by Afrodanza Donatella Carla Hall and Desogus, which will be held at the location of Via Molise 2 in Cagliari, headquarters of the association.
A must see that for the sixth consecutive year, the presence of such illustrious masters Faren Ben Azira (for the first time in Sardinia), Pamela bellydancer, Gennaro Feast, Carla Desogus, Donatella Pavilion, which for TWO days will take turns driving the many stages (each lasting 90 minutes), for a full immersion in the ethnic dances.
New this year is the internship Greek Dancing held by the young teacher Aliki.

GRAN GALA SHOW
The day of Sunday, October 26, 2014 will conclude with the GRAN GALA SHOW, to be held at the Cesar’s Hotel in Darwin 2.5 Via Cagliari starting at 20:30 and will feature the guest teachers and the corps de ballet of the SHUKRAN FESTIVAL: a unique moment where a plate of fregula the Sardinian Mediterranean (vegetables and seafood) and a glass of wine (at a cost of 15 euro per person) you can witness an unforgettable show.
The evening will be hosted by ‘actress and playwright Francesca Falchi.

FAREN BEN AZIRA
Faren Azira Ben is one of the few dancers Eastern men in Italy. His artistic career began in 2001, driven by a deep interest in Arab culture. This passion led him to attend the Faculty of Arabic-Islamic and Mediterranean – at University of Naples L’Orientale, while, simultaneously, began the study of oriental dance. After a series of tutorials landed bellini Academy of Naples, where he followed the course of Azira Imman. Faren has immediately developed his incredible talent and is highlighted for his unique style of dance. Then she began to study ballet and jazz in different schools. In 2003 he began teaching oriental dance in Naples. He then traveled to Egypt where he met dancer Randa Kamel virtuous and innovative, of which he was a student, thus enriching his knowledge of oriental dance. Faren Ben Azira took part in several television shows and movies Italians. He currently teaches oriental dance in Naples, holds workshops all over Italy, is among the teachers of important festival of oriental dance and host of many European festivals. It is also the artistic director and the organization of events such as the festival “Stars in Naples.”

PAMELA BELLYDANCER
Pamela is a belly dancer coming from Argentina.
His interest in dance began when she was very small, its formation is initiated with the study of classical ballet with Teresita Bell (Professor of the Instituto de Arte del Teatro Colón in Bs As), jazz dance with Karina and Laura Roldán Roat. Gennaro FEAST

CARLA DESOGUS

He teaches in the school Afrodanza of Cagliari. DONATELLA HALL
