Il programma trae il titolo da un frammento dei testi tetralingui di Lachrimae di Sylvano Bussotti. Il DUO ALTERNO, con l’autorizzazione del compositore, ha realizzato e inciso per l’etichetta Stradivarius (STR 33833) una versione per voci e pianoforte di questo brano considerato oggi archetipico, scritto nel 1978 originariamente “per ogni voce”. Ancora ispirati, in diversi modi, alla cultura di area mitteleuropea i successivi quattro brani del programma. A Rainer Maria Rilke si rifanno sia À la vie di Riccardo Piacentini sia i Rilke Lieder di Adriano Guarnieri. Il primo è un lavoro per pianoforte preparato, videoproiezioni e foto-suoni (estratti da paesaggi sonori di Praga, Vienna e Monaco registrati e filtrati dallo stesso compositore) su materiali plurimi degli anni della Grande Guerra tratti dalle opere pittoriche di Malevic e Boccioni e da L’adieu à la vie di Alfredo Casella, nonché dalle Duineser Elegien di Rilke. Il secondo è un lavoro dedicato al DUO ALTERNO nel 2012 ed è una intensa e passionale rievocazione di alcuni frammenti delle poesie d’amore di Rilke tradotte in Italiano dallo stesso compositore. Segue Berliner (2010), lavoro pianistico di Piacentini dal carattere fortemente gestuale, nel quale il pianista “danza” intorno al pianoforte ed elabora cripticamente una nota melodia d’operetta del compositore berlinese Walter Kollo.

Jan Švankmajer, regista e sceneggiatore ceco, è noto soprattutto per le sue opere di animazione. Una tranquilla settimana in casa (Tichý týden v dome), di cui si offre un’odierna rimusicazione, è un cortometraggio del 1969. Per sette giorni consecutivi, un uomo scruta in maniera metodica e scrupolosa la vita segreta di una casa abbandonata, fino a prendere una decisione irreversibile.

L’elemento principale della nostra sonorizzazione riguarda la ricerca timbrica di nuovi suoni – applicati a un livello esclusivamente extradiegetico – e la loro interrelazione e simbiosi nello/e con lo spazio in cui la performance sarà eseguita. L’ossatura del lavoro estemporaneo si delinea col divenire filmico, in un susseguirsi di interferenze, collisioni e rotture tra i suoni e la pellicola cruda e frenetica di Tsukamoto.

Suoni Sullo Schermo – Rhythmus, sonorizzazione live di No Mos

No Mos di Cagliari presenta Rhythmus una sonorizzazione elettroacustica di alcuni cortometraggi (originariamente muti) del cinema Dada. Si tratta del tentativo di operare un connubio tra la forma cinetico visiva di capolavori come Rhythmus 21 di Hans Richter, La retour à la raison di Man Ray o Le ballet mécanique di Fernand Léger e Dudley Murphy, e il suono organizzato, nelle sue diverse forme cinetico ritmiche, senza preclusioni di carattere storico, sociologico o estetico.

Fall of Siren, è l’incontro tra due musicisti di diversa estrazione, affascinati dall’esplorazione dell’incontro possibile tra l’universo elettrico dei suoni sintetici (analogici) e la cangiante fisicità timbrica del sassofono. Una partitura scarna, fatta di poche, ricorrenti cellule melodiche fornisce l’impalcatura per un’improvvisazione tesa tra slanci (im)possibili di imitazione timbrica tra i due strumenti, fragori ritmici e sovrapposizioni di strati sonori. Anche grazie all’ausilio di essenziali elementi di processing in tempo reale.

Un contrabbasso solo? Da solo? Proprio solo soletto? Non potendo descrivere la natura della performance dal sapore gustoso non vi diciamo nulla se non che saranno offerte ‘portate sonore’ per tutti i gusti: per i puri vegani e per i vegetariani, per i mangiatori di carni terrestri, marine e di animali volanti. Di certo discuteremo anche di cannibalismo. Cosa sarà quindi questo contrabbasso parlante? Un contrabbasso che parla lo abbiamo visto mai? Quale mostruosità si nasconde dietro questa mitologica figura? Il mistero delle frequenze gravi, o basse, come comunemente si dice… ma in questo caso contrabbasse. A proposito: lo sapevate che i francesi pongono al femminile il genere di questo strano strumento? Loro dicono la contrebbasse… Alldecisi? Ci divertiremo? O anche no?
