LA GIORNATA NAZIONALE DELLE FAMIGLIE AL MUSEO – MINIERA DI MONTEVECCHIO – DOMENICA 12 OTTOBRE 2014NATIONAL DAY FAMILY MUSEU, – MONTEVECCHIO MINE – SUNDAY OCTOBER 12,2014

L’estate è terminata e la stagione turistica si sta chiudendo con un robusto +70% rispetto allo stesso trimestre (luglio-agosto-settembre) dell’anno precedente (ben oltre i 4.000 visitatori, contro i quasi  2.400 del 2013). Eppure, dopo anni ben più bui, il risultato del 2013 era parso un successo difficilmente eguagliabile: il migliore almeno dal 2007.
Qualche turista straniero, inebriato dal bel clima di queste settimane, ancora vuole scrutare tra le mura che videro l’ottocentesca rivoluzione industriale, ma con la nuova stagione, a Montevecchio si attendono i tanti sardi che vogliono fare una piacevole gita domenicale fuori porta, le Associazioni, gli sportivi, le famiglie, le Scuole .
Tra i tanti buoni motivi, domenica prossima c’è “F@Mu” (www.famigliealmuseo.it). L’evento nazionale “Famiglie al Museo” ha registrato l’adesione di diversi importanti musei sardi. A Miniera Montevecchio, per l’occasione sarà visitabile il percorso “S.Antonio” (Stalle, Depositi Minerali 1 e 2, Case dei Minatori), saranno realizzati “laboratori per bambini e ragazzi con gli ex minatori” (parte integrante dell’Offerta per le Scuole) e vi sarà la proiezione di puntate inedite del celebre Cartoon “Mimì e Dodò”, si terrà un incontro/convegno con gli ex minatori (in collaborazione con l’Associazione “Sa Mena”). Tutto gratuitamente, per tutti i tipi di famiglie, dalle 10:00 alle 16:00. Saranno ovviamente disponibili, dalle 10:00 alle 19:00, anche le visite con le Guide Turistiche agli altri percorsi disponibili (Cantiere Piccalinna con sala argano e sala compressori, Percorso Officina-Fonderia-Falegnameria, Palazzo della Direzione Mineraria). Un altra occasione per trascorrere una bella giornata in allegria, con opportune attività per i bambini e magari approfittando della buona cucina offerta dai ristoratori del territorio, o mangiando un semplice panino nel bosco o nei punti di sosta disponibili in loco.
