Anche quest’anno il Comune di Cagliari ha deciso di accompagnare l’estate cagliaritana con “Le notti colorate”, un appuntamento ormai imperdibile per i cittadini e i tanti turisti che vogliono vivere la Città dal tramonto e sino alle 24.00 con la possibilità di fare shopping, visitare i musei e i beni culturali, partecipare a suggestivi percorsi all’interno dei quartieri storici.
A tal fine, il Comune di Cagliari e l’Associazione Culturale Orientare hanno programmato un ricco calendario di eventi. Dopo l’avvio del 10 luglio, giovedì 17 luglio avrà luogo la seconda Notte colorata, dedicata al verde.
La seconda “Tappa del gusto nei quartieri storici” è dedicata al quartiere di Castello, per secoli sede del potere politico, amministrativo ed economico della Città. Appuntamento in piazza Palazzo, di fronte alla Cattedrale di Santa Maria. Da qui, passeggiando per le antiche e caratteristiche vie del quartiere,sarà rievocata la storia di Castello e delle sue fortificazioni, dall’epoca pisana fino ai giorni nostri. Si parlerà delle antiche dimore e dei personaggi storici che hanno animato la vita del quartiere nel corso dei secoli.
Al termine del percorso si visiterà la Torre dell’Elefante, dove gli ospiti potranno gustare una selezione di vini locali accompagnati da qualche specialità tipica, rigorosamente a chilometro zero.

The second “stage of taste in the historic” is dedicated to the neighborhood of the Castle, for centuries the seat of political power, administrative and economic center of the City. Meet in Palace Square, opposite the Cathedral of Santa Maria. From here, walking through the old and typical streets of the neighborhood, it will be recalled the history of the castle and its fortifications, from the Pisan until today. We will talk about the old houses and historical figures who have marked the life of the neighborhood over the centuries.
At the end of the tour we will visit the Elephant Tower, where guests can enjoy a selection of local wines accompanied by some typical specialty, strictly zero kilometer.
