Ultimi due appuntamenti per i concerti alla Esu’s House di Castello

Domenica 22 giugno, sul Bastione di Santa Croce a Cagliari, va in scena Esu’S House & Friends: otto ore di musica no stop per chiudere la lunga stagione dei concerti domestici organizzati da Valentina Esu nella sua casa di Castello, che dall’inizio del 2013 ogni settimana per 60 volte si è trasformata in uno spazio intimo e accogliente per la musica dal vivo.
Dalle 16,00 a mezzanotte si esibiranno, tra la casa e il bastioncino di fronte in via Santa Croce, molti degli artisti che hanno animato le due stagioni della Esu’s House. Anche la formula resta invariata: concerti a cappello con offerta libera e buffet preparato dalla casa, con graditi contributi da parte degli ospiti.
Quello del 22 giugno sarà il primo di due appuntamenti (il secondo si terrà a fine luglio) con cui cala il sipario sull’esperienza della Esu’s House, senza rimpianti e con lo sguardo già proiettato a eventi futuri, ad altre case da abitare e ad altri spazi da riempire di musica.

La casa – I concerti organizzati da Valentina nello spazio di via Santa Croce sono stati più di 60 in 17 mesi. Appuntamenti infrasettimanali in orari accessibili a tutti e compatibili con la vita e la serenità del quartiere. Semplice la formula, conviviale e raccolta: un aperitivo preparato dalla padrona di casa, dalle 20,30, l’inizio concerto alle 21 e poi la cena con i contributi in cibo o bevande condivisi dagli ospiti. Il costo? A deciderlo è sempre stato il pubblico, secondo il proprio gradimento e le proprie possibilità, con un’offerta libera a cappello.
Sono state ospitate le più svariate proposte musicali, a partire dalla cerchia degli amici per arrivare a ricevere proposte di musicisti provenienti da altre regioni italiane e artisti internazionali, oltre a qualche volto noto della scena nazionale come Fry Moneti dei Modena City Ramblers. Si sono avvicendati cantautori con brani originali, cover band, gruppi jazz, rock, blues, folk, garage, pop, elettronica, persino un’intera compagnia di flamenco.
Durante l’estate i concerti si sono tenuti all’aperto, sul bastioncino di Santa Croce, con il supporto del ristorante Pani e Casu, mantenendo lo stesso, caldo allestimento fatto di tappeti, cuscini e sedie di casa.
Sono state tante, e arrivano tuttora, le richieste dei musicisti che si propongono per esibirsi alla Esu’s House. Gli artisti si sono sempre mostrati entusiasti per l’emozione suscitata da un posto così intimo e un pubblico così attento. Gli ospiti di una sera sono diventati ospiti fissi, si è creato un gruppo di assidui frequentatori che ogni volta ha portato amici e ospiti nuovi.
Da febbraio ad aprile del 2013 il progetto è stato sostenuto tramite Musicraiser, con una campagna di crowdfunding musicale che ha portato all’obiettivo di mille euro con i quali la casa si è dotata di un nuovo impianto e di una serie di comodità per una migliore accoglienza del pubblico.

Sunday, June 22, on the Bastion of Santa Croce in Cagliari, is staged Esu’S House & Friends: eight hours of non-stop music to close the long season of concerts organized by Valentina domestic Esu at his home in Castle, which from the beginning of 2013 every week for 60 times it has been transformed into a cozy and intimate space for live music.
From 16.00 to midnight will perform, between the house and the street in front of bastioncino Holy Cross, many of the artists who inspired the two seasons of Esu’s House. That of June 22 will be the first of two events (the second will be held in late July) with which the curtain falls on the experience of Esu’s House, with no regrets and with his eyes already looking to future events, to other houses to live in and other spaces to be filled with music.

The house – Concerts organized by Valentina space in Via Santa Croce were more than 60 in 17 months. Appointments during the week at times accessible to all and compatible with life and the serenity of the neighborhood. Simple formula, and convivial gathering: a cocktail prepared by the lady of the house, from 20.30, the concert starts at 21 and then dinner with contributions in food or drink shared by guests. The cost? To decide the general public has always been, according to his own liking and their possibilities, offering a free hat.
Were hosted the most diverse musical offerings, from the circle of friends to get to receive proposals for musicians from other Italian regions and international artists, as well as some well-known face of the national scene as Fry Moneti Modena City Ramblers. Have come and gone songwriters with original songs, cover bands, jazz bands, rock, blues, folk, garage, pop, electronica, even a whole company of flamenco.
During the summer, the concerts were held outdoors on bastioncino of the Holy Cross, with the support of the restaurant Loaves and Casu, keeping the same, warm interior made of carpets, cushions and chairs in the house.
There were many, and still come, the demands of the musicians who intend to perform at the Esu’s House. The artists are always enthusiastic about the emotion aroused by a place so intimate and so attentive audience. The guests of the evening have become regular guests, you have created a group of regulars that every time he brought friends and new guests.
From February to April of 2013, the project was supported by Musicraiser, with a musical crowdfunding campaign that led to the goal of one thousand Euros with which the house is equipped with a new system and a range of amenities for a better public reception.
