Da Kassel, cittadina della Germania Occidentale, alle classifiche mondiali il passo è stato davvero breve. Inizia così la storia di Clemens Rehbein e Philipp Dausch, rispettivamente cantante e musicista il primo e Dj il secondo. I due giovanissimi iniziano la loro collaborazione artistica nel 2012, anno in cui lanciano del materiale nuovo, energico e molto interessante sul web. In poco tempo il singolo “Stolen Dance” diviene un successo, non solo in tutta la Germania, ma in tutto il mondo. Ad oggi il duo tedesco cavalca l’onda del successo, contando su un contratto appena firmato con il manager degli Oasis, un qualcosa come 33 milioni di visualizzazioni del loro video su Youtube, un primo tour europeo che si preannuncia mozzafiato e tanta voglia di farsi conoscere non solo come gli autori della radio hit Stolen Dance.
Nel 2013 autoproducono il loro primo album Sadnecessary che contiene oltre al tormentone Stolen Dance, l’ottimo singolo Down by the River, ben accolto sia dalla critica che dal pubblico.
Il 28 Luglio, al Parco della Musica di Cagliari, a partire dalle ore 20,30 il loro primo concerto live in Sardegna: uno show energico e moderno che commistiona le sonorità elettroniche del Dj Philipp Dausch con il background jazz-folk del musicista Clemens Rehbein, in un’esplosione di dinamismo e freschezza melodica.
