Boghes, una serata speciale dedicata a Piero Sanna

Mercoledì 7 maggio, (con inizio alle 20,30) il Teatro Lirico di Cagliari dedica una serata speciale ai cori e ai canti della  Sardegna. Il concerto (inserito nella programmazione del XIV Festival di Sant’Efisio) vuole essere un affettuoso omaggio alla memoria di Piero Sanna, indimenticabile voce del Tenores di Bitti Remunnu ‘E Locu, recentemente scomparso.

Il concerto sarà aperto da un’esibizione del Coro del Teatro Lirico, che darà il benvenuto al pubblico e agli artisti invitati proponendo un repertorio di musica contemporanea ispirata alla tradizione musicale sarda (“Canzone religiosa, La processione di S. Efisio” di Ennio Porrino, “Ninna Nanna” di Franco Oppo e la “Danza di Desulo” di Ennio Porrino). A seguire le esibizioni del Coro Femminile di Tonara, dei Cantori della Resurrezione di Porto Torres e del Coro a Cuncordu di Cuglieri. A chiudere la serata saranno i Tenores di Bitti Remunnu ‘E Locu con uno speciale omaggio a Piero Sanna.

Le esibizioni dei gruppi saranno introdotte da Enzo Favata, artista jazz da sempre vicino alle sonorità e alla poetica della musica sarda. A lui il compito di evidenziare il forte legame che esiste tra la sensibilità contemporanea e le voci della tradizione più antica.

Questa prima serata speciale dedicata ai cori e alla vocalità popolare della Sardegna rientra in un progetto del Teatro Lirico di Cagliari che punta a una collaborazione sempre più stretta e fertile con le realtà musicali che operano nel territorio di tutta l’isola, in una prospettiva di dialogo e di scambio costante. Un nuovo appuntamento è già stato fissato (sempre nell’ambito del VIX Festival di Sant’Efisio) per domenica 11 maggio, negli spazi all’aperto del Parco della Musica, quando in occasione della manifestazione Monumenti Aperti le bande musicali provenienti da tutta la Sardegna sono state invitate a esibirsi in un grande concerto dalla mattina alla sera per le famiglie e le migliaia di visitatori che verranno a fare visite guidate al Teatro.

La serata Boghes, pur essendo a ingresso gratuito, prevede la possibilità di prenotare i posti in Teatro. Wednesday, May 7 , ( starting at 20.30 ), the Teatro Lirico in Cagliari a special evening dedicated to the songs and chants of Sardinia. The concert ( included in the programming of the XIV Festival Ephisius ) wants to be a loving tribute to the memory of Piero Sanna, unforgettable voice of Tenores Bitti Remunnu ‘ And Locu , who died recently .

The concert will open with a performance by the Chorus of the Teatro Lirico , which will welcome the audience and the artists invited a repertoire of contemporary music inspired by the musical tradition of Sardinia ( “Song of the religious procession of St. Ephisius ” Ennio Porrino , ” Lullaby ” by Franco Oppo and the “Dance of Desulo ” Ennio Porrino ) . Following the performances of the Female Choir of Tonara , the Singers of the Resurrection of Porto Torres and Chorus in Cuncordu Cuglieri . To close the evening will be the Tenores Bitti Remunnu ‘ And Locu with a special tribute to Piero Sanna.

The performances of the groups will be introduced by Enzo Favata , jazz artist has always been close to the sounds of the music and the poetry of Sardinia. His task will be to highlight the strong link that exists between the contemporary sensibility and the voices of the oldest traditions .

This primetime special dedicated to choirs and vocal style popular in Sardinia is part of a project of Teatro Lirico di Cagliari pointing to an increasingly close and fruitful collaboration with the musical realities operating in the territory of the island , with a view to constant dialogue and exchange . A new appointment has already been fixed ( again as part of the Festival of Ephisius VIX ) for Sunday, May 11 , in open areas of the Parco della Musica , when during the event monuments open to bands from all over Sardinia have been invited to perform in a big concert from morning to evening for families and the thousands of visitors who come to take guided tours to the Theatre.

The evening Boghes , while being free admission, provides for the possibility to reserve seats in the theater.
