Shakerate con energia e… preparatevi ad assaggiare un dolcissimo ed effervescente vintage-cocktail:
The Longuettes!

Nell’estate 2013, complice una colonna sonora da giradischi che fa da sottofondo a tante serate trascorse insieme, tre amiche decidono di unire la loro passione per le atmosfere vintage al grande amore per la musica, creando così un trio vocale femminile dal sapore retrò che spazia tra gli anni ’40 e ’60.
Daniela, Elena e Michela, accompagnate al piano da Andrea, catapultano chi le vede e ascolta indietro nel tempo: un viaggio musicale che fa tappa per i grandi classici swing in cui le armonie delle grandi big band si ripresentano adattate alla polifonia del trio vocale, attraversa il ritmo sfrenato dei boogie-woogie del pre e dopo guerra, passa per l’easy pop al femminile tutto fifties e approda ad alcune indimenticabili hit italiane e straniere dei magici anni ’60.
Per affrontare questo viaggio è indispensabile il sorriso, forti braccia e gambe per ballare e ovviamente il nostro vintage-cocktail preferito, di cui abbiamo appena svelato la ricetta!

Jazz/swing trio capitanato da Andrea Schirru pianista e tastierista versatile con esperienze principalmente in Classica, Jazz, Soul, Blues, Funk, Crossover, Hip Hop ma anche Rock, Elettronica, Pop, Beat, Avantgarde, Lounge, Exotica, Ska, Raggae, Musica da Film (specialmente quella italiana della GOLDEN AGE ’60-’70), Musica per il Teatro o per Reading Letterari, Improvvisazione radicale.

THE WHEELERS TRIO

The Wheelers Rockabilly Trio nascono nel 2006 dall’unione di tre musicisti con la passione per il rock and roll , rockabilly , country e blues . I tre , ( Patrick Atzori alla chitarra e voce , Gianfranco “Frank” Zucca alla batteria e Luca ” Lupo ” Manca al basso e cori ), mettono su uno spettacolo in un breve periodo di tempo , sulla base di uno stile e un tocco personali, immortalati nell’estate del 2007 nelle versioni registrate di “That’s All Right Mama ” , ” Secret Agent Man” e “These boot are made for walking” . Il trio così composto, suona spesso in pub , matrimoni , incontri e celebrazioni di ogni tipo fino all’estate del 2011 , momento in cui la formazione originale subisce un cambiamento con l’ingresso di Pietro “Peter” Staiano alla batteria e la transizione al basso di ” Frank” Zucca pur rimanendo stabile Patrick alla chitarra e voce . La nuova linea continua il lavoro precedente, aggiungendo al curriculum degli eventi tappe condivise con molti artisti tra cui gli artisti italiani Linea77 , “Marco Di Maggio ” e ” Bud Spencer Blues Explsion . ” Nel dicembre del 2012 ha iniziato a registrare l’album “The Wheelers Rockabilly Trio “, uscito nel settembre 2013 che attualmente raccoglie un certo interesse tra la gente.

In the summer of 2013 thanks to a soundtrack by turntable that is the background to the many evenings spent together , three friends decided to combine their passion for vintage atmosphere to the great love of music , creating a retro-style female vocal trio that ranging between the 40s and 60s.
Daniela , Elena and Michela , accompanied on the piano by Andrew catapult those who see and hear back in time : a musical journey that makes a stop to the great classics swing in which the harmonies of the great big band recur adapted to polyphony of vocal trio , through the frantic pace of the boogie- woogie before and after the war, passing through the easy all -female pop fifties and arrives at some unforgettable hit Italian and foreign magic of the ’60s.

THE WHEELERS TRIO

The Wheelers Rockabilly Trio born in 2006 from the union of three musicians with a passion for rock and roll, rockabilly , country and blues .
