Ottavo appuntamento per Arte52: alle esposizioni di Marco Pili, Salvatore Atzeni, Sergio Bolgeri ed alla collettiva Orbace questa settimana si affianca la personale “Serendipità” di Francesco Cubeddu.
L’inaugurazione della personale “Serendipità” si terrà venerdì 7 marzo alle ore 17 presso il Museo Naturalistico del Territorio “ G. Pusceddu” e si potrà visitare fino al 6 aprile 2014.

Le “quadrografie” dell’artista, un ibrido tra pittura e fotografia, stampate sulla tela per accentuarne l’ambiguità, rappresentano un omaggio alla terra, la nostra vera madre dalla quale tutti proveniamo e alla quale tutti, chi prima chi dopo, torneremo ma, anche un modo per chiederle perdono per tutto il male che noi umani, suoi figli ingrati, le stiamo causando.

Tutto quello che utilizziamo per delimitare lo spazio a terra, visto dall’alto perde il suo significato, dalla prospettiva aerea i muri, le recinzioni, i corsi d’acqua si trasformano in linee, curve, figure geometriche di diversi colori che formano delle immagini pittoriche, dei veri e propri quadri che l’uomo ha creato in modo del tutto inconsapevole con le sue attività legate alla terra, un effetto inaspettato del suo sfruttamento che, assieme alla natura, con le sue stagioni, i suoi sui ritmi, i suoi eventi meteorologici ci fa apparire la superficie terrestre come una tela sulla quale sono dipinte immagini in perenne cambiamento, come queste, piccolo esempio di quello che la visione aerea ci rivela. Dall’alto scopriamo che la terra non è composta da una serie di tasselli ben distinti come pianure, rilievi, foreste e deserti, mari e fiumi, come fosse un immenso mosaico ma è un unico organismo che solo la nostra visione “terrestre” tende a suddividere.

Questa mostra è un caso di serendipità, ovvero nasce “dallo scoprire una cosa non cercata e imprevista mentre se ne sta cercando un’altra”. L’autore delle opere, Francesco Cubeddu, nato a Seneghe nel 1956, è infatti un escursionista, pilota di parapendio e paramotore che si occupa di fotografia aerea con particolare predilezione per i siti archeologici e il territorio della Sardegna. Analizzando le sue foto aeree salta però agli occhi una stranezza: le linee formate dai muri a secco o dalle recinzioni, i filari delle piantagioni, le arature dei campi e, di solito qualsiasi cosa dove l’”arte dell’uomo” abbia messo il suo ingegno sembra formare delle figure geometriche che sorprendentemente sono simili ad opere di arte astratta. Da qui è nata l’idea di raccogliere queste insolite fotografie e presentarle stampate su tela come dei quadri che Cubeddu ama chiamare “quadrografie”.Eight race for Arte52 : exposures Mark Pili , Salvatore Atzeni , Sergio Bolger and the collective orbace this week joins the staff ” Serendipity ” by Francesco Cubeddu .
The inauguration of the staff ” Serendipity ” will be held Friday, March 7 at 17 at the Museum of Natural Territory “G. Pusch ” and will be open until 6 April 2014.

The ” quadrografie ” of the artist , a hybrid between painting and photography , printed on canvas to accentuate the ambiguity , are a tribute to the earth , our true mother from which we all come and to which we all , sooner or later, but we will return , also a way to ask for forgiveness for all the evil that we humans , his ungrateful children , the ‘re causing.

Everything we use to delimit the space to the ground , seen from above loses its meaning , from the perspective of airline walls, fences, streams are transformed into lines, curves , geometric shapes of different colors forming images pictorial , real paintings that man has created so completely unaware with its activities related to land, an unexpected effect of its exploitation which, together with the nature , with its seasons , its rhythms , its weather events makes us look the Earth’s surface as a canvas on which images are painted in perpetual change, as these small example of what the aerial view reveals . From above we find that the earth is not composed of a series of distinct blocks as plains, hills , forests and deserts , seas and rivers , like a huge mosaic , but it is a single organism that only our vision ” terrestrial ” tends to subdivide.

This exhibition is a case of serendipity , that is born ” from discovering something unsought and unexpected as he is looking for another .” The author of the works , Francesco Cubeddu , born in Seneghe in 1956, is in fact a hiker, paragliding and paramotor pilot who is responsible for aerial photography with a special fondness for the archaeological sites and the territory of Sardinia. By analyzing its aerial photos is striking an oddity : the lines formed by dry-stone walls or by fences, rows of plantings , plowing fields , and usually anything where ‘ ” Art of Man” has put the his talent seems to form geometric figures that are surprisingly similar to works of abstract art. From here came the idea to collect these unusual photographs and present them printed on canvas paintings like that Cubeddu likes to call ” quadrografie .”
