Giorgio Canali, Granpa, Soviet Soviet, Gazebo Penguins, The Cyborgs, Cinemavolta, Stefano Cherchi, Federico Pazzona e Enrico Spanu: questo il cast di AlterNotes, sette giovedì di musica dal vivo, in programma fino ai primi di aprile al Kastè Social Pub, il locale cagliaritano in via Università.

Allestita in collaborazione con la cooperativa Vox Day e con la supervisione artistica di Davide Catinari, la rassegna prende subito quota: protagonista assoluto del concerto inaugurale, giovedì 6 febbraio, è infatti un nome di spicco della scena rock alternativa italiana degli ultimi tre decenni, Giorgio Canali, voce e chitarra al centro dei riflettori a partire dalle ore 22.30.

Sette sere dopo (il 13 febbraio, sempre alle 22.30 e con ingresso a sei euro), dalla Sicilia planano sul palco del Kastè i Granpa, trio guidato da Gianluca Bartolo, voce e chitarrista dei Pan del Diavolo, il duo folk/rock’n’roll applaudito a Cagliari lo scorso ottobre alla settima edizione del Karel Music Expo.

Il mese di febbraio per AlterNotes si completa giovedì 27 con le sonorità post punk e gothic dei Soviet Soviet, formazione sulle scene nazionali e internazionali dal 2009, che giunge a Cagliari reduce dalla pubblicazione (lo scorso novembre, per l’etichetta newyorchese Felte) del suo quarto album, “Fate”, acclamato dalla critica come disco della maturazione.

La rassegna riprende il suo cammino il 13 marzo all’insegna del rock indipendente: i riflettori del Kastè si accendono per gli emiliani Gazebo Penguins, premiati al MEI di Faenza 2013 come miglior gruppo live, dopo un tour che li ha portati a solcare numerosi palchi e club in tutta Italia per promuovere “Raudo”, il loro terzo album in studio.

Giovedì 20 marzo AlterNotes presenta “La Notte delle Chitarre”, un progetto originale che vedrà avvicendarsi sul palco tre musicisti sardi, Stefano Cherchi (chitarra e voce dei Nielsa), Federico Pazzona (in arte Beeside) e Enrico Spanu (The Heart And The Void), che poi si riuniranno insieme per un set finale.

È invece un atteso ritorno quello del 27 marzo al Kastè: già acclamati dal pubblico cagliaritano lo scorso ottobre in occasione del Karel Music Expo, tornano in scena The Cyborgs, la “two men band” dall’identità anonima (i due musicisti si fanno chiamare “0″ e “1″, come i simboli del codice binario), pronta a elettrizzare l’atmosfera con il suo boogie blues dalle venature sonore decisamente “heavy”.

La data del 3 aprile segna l’ultimo appuntamento per AlterNotes, che chiude questo ciclo dedicato alla musica indipendente con il funky dei bresciani Cinemavolta, band sulle scene da dieci anni: un cammino contrassegnato nel 2005 dalla pubblicazione di “Weekend”, album di esordio prodotto da Max Casacci per l’etichetta Casasonica, seguito tra il 2007 e il 2011 da due libri-cd (“Smetti di essere felice” e “Il mio dio è ateo”), dall’ep “Guerra Fredda” (2009) e da “3D(C)” (2011). L’ultimo album, uscito l’anno scorso, è il doppio “Love, Party o Altro?”.

Organized in collaboration with the cooperative Vox Day and under the artistic supervision of David Catinari , the exhibition ‘ll quickly share : the protagonist ‘s opening concert on Thursday, Feb. 6, in fact, is a leading name in the Italian alternative rock scene of the last three decades , George channels , voice and guitar in the spotlight starting at 22.30 .

Seven nights later ( February 13 , again at 22.30 and entrance to six Euros ) , from Sicily glide on the stage of the Kaste Granpa , a trio led by Gianluca Bartolo , vocals and guitarist of Pan del Diavolo , the duo folk / rock ‘ n ‘roll applauded in Cagliari last October the seventh edition of Karel Music Expo .

The month of February to Thursday 27 AlterNotes is completed with the sounds of post-punk and gothic Soviet Soviet training on the national and international scene since 2009 , which comes to Cagliari veteran of publication ( last November, the New York label FELTE ) of his fourth album , ” Fate” , the critically acclaimed disc as it matures.

The show resumes its journey March 13 in the name of the independent rock : the spotlight of the Kaste light for Emilia Gazebo Penguins, awarded at the MEI 2013 as the best live band , after a tour that took them to plow through many stages and clubs all over Italy to promote ” Raudo ” , their third studio album.

Thursday, March 20 AlterNotes presents ” The Night of the Guitar ,” an original project that will take place over three musicians on stage Sardinians, Stefano Cherchi (guitar and vocals of Nielsa ) , Federico Pazzona (aka Beeside ) and Henry Spanu (The Heart And The Void ) , which then gather together for a final set.
