Due giorni di vero jazz tradizionale con la milanese Marson’s Family Jazz Band diretta dal pianista Gigi Marson con il figlio Giacomo alla tromba, Marco Argiolas, talentuoso sassofonista e clarinettista e la ritmica cagliaritana per eccellenza, Alessandro Atzori al contrabbasso e Vittorio Sicbaldi alla batteria.
In repertorio brani classici di Louis Armstrong, Bix Beiderbecke, Jelly Roll Morton, Count Basie, Billy Holiday e i classici della tradizione di New Orleans, quei brani, cioè, che non hanno un autore noto, ma che per la loro popolarità tutti conoscono e cantano.
Il concerto sarà preceduto dalla proiezione dei cortometraggi muti del grande attore BUSTER KEATON , celebre per l’espressione stralunata dei suoi personaggi, per la mimica e il suo talento “acrobatico”, per l’occasione musicati dal vivo dal pianista GIGI MARSON

Two days of true jazz with the traditional Milanese Marson ‘s Family Jazz Band directed by pianist Gigi Marson with his son James on trumpet, Marco Argiolas , a talented saxophonist and clarinetist and rhythm for excellence in Cagliari , Alessandro Atzori on bass and Victor Sicbaldi the battery.
In repertory classic songs of Louis Armstrong , Bix Beiderbecke , Jelly Roll Morton, Count Basie , Billie Holiday and the classic tradition of New Orleans, those songs , that is, that do not have a known author , but for their popularity all know and sing .
The concert will be preceded by a screening of the silent shorts of the great actor BUSTER KEATON , famous for the wide-eyed expression of his characters, for mimicry and his talent ” acrobatic ” , for the occasion with live music by pianist GIGI MARSON
