Il museo del territorio Sa Corona Arrùbia in collaborazione con la Rassegna d’Arte Contemporanea Gesto Segno Disegno presenta il workshop video “Sa Corona Arrùbia in immagini e suoni dalla rappresentazione museale ad una rappresentazione creativa del territorio”. Al laboratorio che dura un week end si potrà partecipare o il 13/14/15 dicembre 2013, o il 17/18/19 gennaio 2014 e avrà come docenti i due artisti Matteo Campulla e Federico Cozzucoli.
Il workshop avrà come spunto la riflessione che il museo ha fatto sul proprio territorio per arricchirla rappresentando la Marmilla in maniera creativa, mettendo in gioco le potenzialità espressive di ogni partecipante.
Oltre a scoprire le bellezze storico naturalistiche di un luogo, in cui le testimonianze archeologico monumentali si trovano in un contesto ambientale e paesaggistico di notevole bellezza, si darà un contributo per una lettura nuova e originale.
Questa esperienza è rivolta a tutti: sia a coloro che abitano il territorio, sia a coloro che lo conoscono, perché lo frequentano da anni, sia a quanti non conoscendolo vogliano farsene suggestionare, immergendosi nella sua meravigliosa natura e nella cordialità dei suoi abitanti.
Il laboratorio, da svolgersi nell’arco di un week-end, sarà per coloro che vorranno parteciparvi una full immersion nella natura e nel confronto creativo.
Il workshop è rivolto a un pubblico adulto di non professionisti e di appassionati dell’arte e del mezzo video-fotografico e sarà finalizzato alla produzione di un audiovisivo collettivo che utilizzi il linguaggio della video arte.
Indirizzati dai due docenti i partecipanti realizzeranno un’opera collettiva attraverso le tecniche di composizione guidata in cui ognuno potrà esprimere al meglio il proprio estro.
I componenti del workshop verranno iniziati all’arte del montaggio in maniera attiva, scoprendo i trucchi che rendono un video bello e accattivante, diventando dei registi in erba. Inoltre il video, nel cui editing vi saranno i nomi di tutti i partecipanti e dei due docenti, farà parte della collezione permanente del museo del territorio “Sa Corona Arrùbia”.
Il numero di partecipanti ad ogni appuntamento sarà da un minimo di 10 partecipanti a un massimo di 20.

Matteo Campulla (Iglesias, 1982) Vive per i primi sei anni a Ditzingen, un paesino vicino a Stoccarda, in Germania. Nel 1988 si trasferisce definitivamente in Sardegna, più precisamente ad Assemini (CA), dove tutt’ora risiede. Dopo il conseguimento del diploma al Liceo Artistico di Cagliari nel 2005 continua la sperimentazione pittorica iniziata verso la fine degli anni 90, concentrandosi sull’uso di materiali e supporti non convenzionali. A questo percorso affianca la ricerca nel campo della musica, del video e del linguaggio in genere. Nel maggio del 2009, insieme a Diego Dall’Ara e Davide Ligas, forma il Movimento Oscurantista, un collettivo di pittori dai toni oscuri, apertamente schierati contro l’arte contemporanea.
Di fondamentale importanza nella sua crescita professionale e artistica sono state le esperienze maturate presso TCS – Telecostasmeralda (emittente televisiva regionale appartenente al gruppo editoriale de “L’Unione Sarda”), in cui ha avuto modo di confrontarsi per la prima volta con la produzione televisiva e formarsi come operatore televisivo e montatore. Successivamente, come freelancer, ha collaborato con Repubblica.it, prodotto videoclip musicali, realizzato diversi reportage di manifestazioni culturali e artistiche, concerti, spettacoli teatrali etc. È invece nei primi mesi del 2012 che nasce SCARS, un progetto di videoarte che si manifesta per la prima volta nell’ambito del XXV Festival Internazionale di Performing Arts “InterAzioni” del Teatro Arka. Nel 2013 nasce il progetto audiovisivo “Boga Bisuras!” nato dalla collaborazione con Marco Fadda. Nel maggio del 2013 vince il Premio Babel nella sezione video.

Federico Cozzucoli (Messina, 1972) Lascia la Sicilia a diciannove anni per intraprendere gli studi teologi, che conclude nel 1999 conseguendo il baccellierato in teologia presso la Pontificia Università Lateranense a Roma. Successivamente, scoperta la sua vocazione da artista, cerca di mediare la teologia con l’arte e si iscrive alla Pontificia Università Gregoriana, dove studia i temi dell’arte sacra e consegue il diploma di operatore per i Beni Culturali della Chiesa. Nello stesso periodo frequenta la Scuola Libera del Nudo all’Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma e comincia ad avere le prime esperienze espositive. La sua principale espressione artistica è la performance, dove mescola l’esperienza rituale liturgica della Chiesa Cattolica – che non più praticare attivamente e costantemente come un tempo – con elementi sincretisti sia della cultura pop che della cultura alta, riflettendo gli elementi che caratterizzano il cattolicesimo contemporaneo: la devozione popolare e l’alta teologia che si confronta con il mondo della grande cultura filosofica. Queste tematiche, trattate in maniera non confessionale, sono oggetto dei suoi video, fotografie, rielaborazioni pittoriche e digitali, sculture, ma è da ribadire che la maggior parte delle opere nascono per le performance o si sviluppano in seguito a queste. Da qualche anno trascorre i suoi inverni a Calasetta dove, in un ambiente silenzioso pieno di mare e natura, ha avuto modo di meditare e approfondire le tematiche del suo lavoro.

Termini e modalità di partecipazione
Il termine d’iscrizione al workshop è previsto entro e non oltre il 9 dicembre 2013 per il workshop del 13/14/15 dicembre, mentre è fissata per il 13 gennaio 2014 la scadenza per quello del 17/18/19 gennaio.

The museum ‘s territory Sa Corona Arrubia in collaboration with the Exhibition of Contemporary Art presents Drawing Gesture Sign of the workshop video ” Sa Corona Arrubia into images and sounds from the museum representation of a creative representation of the territory .” At the workshop that lasts a weekend you can participate or 13/14/15 December 2013 or January 2014 17/18/19 and will have as teachers , the two artists Matthew and Federico Campulla Cozzucoli .
The workshop will have as its starting point the reflection that the museum has on its territory to enrich representing the Marmilla in a creative way , by bringing into play the expressive potential of each participant.
In addition to discover the historical nature of a place, where the monumental archaeological evidence found in an environment and landscape of remarkable beauty , it will contribute to a new and original reading .
This experience is open to all, both those who live in the area, both to those who know him , because frequent it for years, and to those who wish to do with not knowing influence , immersing himself in his wonderful nature and the friendliness of its inhabitants.
The workshop, to be held over a weekend, will be for those who want to participate in a full immersion in nature and the creative confrontation .
The workshop is aimed at an adult audience of non-professionals and lovers of art and the medium of video – and photo will be used for the production of an audiovisual collective that uses the language of video art.
Directed by two faculty participants will achieve a collective guided through the techniques of composition in which everyone will be able to better express their own creativity .
The components of the workshop will be initiated to the art of editing in an active, discovering the tricks that make it a beautiful and captivating video , becoming the budding filmmakers . In addition, the video , in which you will be editing the names of all the participants and two faculty members , will be part of the permanent collection of the Museum of the territory ” Sa Corona Arrubia .”
The number of participants at each event will be a minimum of 10 participants and a maximum of 20 .

Matthew Campulla ( Iglesias, 1982) Lives for the first six years in Ditzingen , a small town near Stuttgart , Germany. Frederick Cozzucoli (Messina , 1972) Give Sicily nineteen theologians to conduct a study , which concludes in 1999, earning his bachelor’s degree in theology at the Pontifical Lateran University in Rome. Subsequently , discovered his vocation as an artist , tries to mediate theology with art and enrolled at the Pontifical Gregorian University , where he studied the themes of sacred art and graduated as operator for the Cultural Heritage of the Church. During the same period he attended the Free School of Nude at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome and she had her first exhibition experience . His main artistic expression is the performance , which combines the experience of liturgical ritual of the Catholic Church – which does not practice anymore actively and steadily like a long time – with syncretistic elements of pop culture that is of high culture , reflecting the elements that characterize Catholicism contemporary popular devotion and high theology that confronts the world’s major philosophical culture . These themes treated in a non- denominational , are the subject of his videos , photographs, paintings and digital rework , sculptures, but it must be reiterated that most of the works are created for the performance or develop as a result of these . For a few years he spent his winters in Calasetta where , in a quiet environment full of sea and nature, has got to meditate and deepen the themes of his work.

Terms and conditions for participation
The deadline for registration to the workshop is expected no later than December 9, 2013 for the workshop of 13/14/15 December, while it is set for January 13, 2014 the deadline for the 17/18/19 of January.
