BIOGRAFIA:

Nel 1979 ha iniziato a rotolare un sassolino che ben presto si sarebbe trasformato in valanga, ad opera di una persona che ha creato un forte impatto nel mondo dell’heavy metal. Col nome di Mantas, il leggendario chitarrista Jeff Dunn formò una band che propose ben presto live spettacolari, degni di gruppi come Kiss e che sfidò i temi occulti di cui i Black Sabbath erano stati pionieri.
Unì il suono tagliente dei Judas Priest al potente volume dei Motorhead in una bomba che chiamò Venom. In seguito, con rinnovata ispirazione, Mantas nel 1988 invitò nei Venom il bassista/cantante Demolition Man (Tony Dolan).

Il duetto scrisse Prime Evil, un album salutato come il ritorno alla forma per i Venom. Seguirono poi altri due album, Temples of Ice e The Waste Lands e nel 1992 si registrò la partenza di Demoliton Man dai Venom. Dopo un periodo di pausa nel 1997 tornò Cronos e dopo altri due album, Cast in Stone e Resurrection, Mantas lasciò definitivamente i Venom.

Mantas nel 2010 si unì ai Dryll col batterista Antton (fratello di Cronos) ma non ci volle molto per il chitarrista a pensare di richiamare Demolition Man ancora una volta…

Il terzetto decise che era il caso di produrre nuovamente qualcosa di potente, degno della loro passione e abilità musicale, qualcosa di pesante e sporco, privo di ego, senza fingere di essere rimasti nel 1982.

I superfan della band furono chiamati a scegliere il nome del gruppo, che ben presto venne eletto come Prime Evil, dal nome del primo album dei Venom con Demolition in formazione. Dopo un po’, come si sparse la voce nel mondo, dovettero cambiare idea in rispetto di un gruppo americano che aveva deciso di chiamarsi Prime Evil proprio per onorare l’album dei Venom.

La band, ora Mpire of Evil, ha registrato Creatures of the Black nel 2011, Hell to the Holy nel 2012 e Crucified nel 2013. Durante lo scorso anno, Antton decise di formare un gruppo suo (i DEF-CON-NE) e venne provisoriamente scelto da Mantas l’ottimo batterista JXN, poi promosso sul campo dallo stesso chitarrista e da allora in pianta stabile nella band.

Verra eseguita una speciale scaletta dei Venom con incluse nuove song degli Mpire of Evil… i nuovi Venom!

In 1979 he started to roll a stone that soon would turn into an avalanche, at the hands of a person who has created a strong impact in the world of heavy metal . With the name of Mantas , the legendary guitarist Jeff Dunn formed a band who proposed soon live spectacular , worthy of bands like Kiss and challenged the occult themes of which were pioneers Black Sabbath .
Joined the sharp sound of Judas Priest to Motorhead powerful volume in a bomb called Venom. Then, with renewed inspiration , Mantas in 1988 invited the Venom bassist / vocalist Demolition Man (Tony Dolan ) .

The duo wrote Prime Evil , an album hailed as a return to form for the Venom. This was followed by two more albums , Temples of Ice and The Waste Lands and in 1992 recorded the departure of Demoliton Man by Venom. After a hiatus in 1997 Cronos returned and after two more albums , Cast in Stone and Resurrection , Mantas left permanently Venom.

Mantas in 2010 he joined the Dryll with the drummer Antton (brother of Cronos) but it did not take long for the guitarist to think to call Demolition Man again …

The trio decided that was the case again to produce something powerful , worthy of their passion and musical prowess , something heavy and dirty , without ego , without pretending to be remained in 1982.

The Superfan of the band were asked to choose the name of the group, which was soon elected as Prime Evil , from the name of Venom ‘s first album with Demolition in training. After a while ‘ , as word spread around the world , they had to change their minds in respect of an American group who had decided to call their own to honor the Prime Evil album Venom.

The band , now Mpire of Evil , recorded Creatures of the Black in 2011, Hell to the Holy Crucified in 2012 and in 2013. During the past year , he decided to form a group Antton his ( the DEF -CON- NE) and was provisionally chosen by Mantas JXN the excellent drummer , then promoted on the field by the guitarist and then on a permanent basis in the band.

Will be performed with a special lineup of Venom including new song of Mpire of Evil … the new Venom !
