NASCE IL PRIMO FabLAB DI SARDEGNA RICERCHEBORN THE FIRST FabLAB SARDINIA RESEARCH

A seguito della nascita del fenomeno dei makers (artigiani tecnologici) che si sta sviluppando in tutto il mondo e che sta dando vita a veri e propri laboratori di fabbricazione (FabLab – Fabrication Laboratories), dove tutti possono pensare e realizzare i loro oggetti e le loro invenzioni, Sardegna Ricerche ha deliberato il 26 settembre 2013 gli stanziamenti per la creazione del primo FabLab sardo che avrà sede nell’edificio 2 del Parco tecnologico di Pula.

Il finanziamento ammonta ad un totale di circa 530mila euro (iva inclusa) da utilizzarsi in 2 annualità così distribuiti: 200mila verranno utilizzati per concedere 40 borse di sperimentazione a giovani artigiani tecnologici disoccupati o inoccupati, residenti in Sardegna, che desiderino realizzare progetti, idee e invenzioni, avvalendosi del nuovo laboratorio (Bando generazione Faber). Il resto dei fondi messi a disposizione verrà utilizzato per l’acquisto di macchinari e attrezzature, in particolare stampanti 3D, laser da taglio, fresatrici e materie prime, per il lancio di eventuali iniziative sul territorio e per attività di formazione.

Il laboratorio sarà attivo presumibilmente da gennaio 2014 e sarà aperto a tutti quelli che hanno creatività, immaginazione e voglia di costruire e progettare in uno spazio condiviso. I costi di utilizzo delle macchine verranno espressi in crediti; i crediti sono la moneta interna del Fablab e verrà usata per riconoscere agli utilizzatori attivi del laboratorio il loro sforzo verso lo stesso, ma potranno anche essere acquistati tramite carta di credito, paypal o direttamente in sede.

Bando generazione Faber
Le 40 borse destinate ai giovani artigiani tecnologici disoccupati o inoccupati avranno durata di 8 mesi e un importo massimo complessivo di 5.000 euro ciascuna, per poter fare domanda è necessario essere in possesso di diploma o laurea. La scadenza per presentare le domande è fissata alle ore 12:00 del 25 novembre 2013.
I progetti potranno consistere nello sviluppo di un prototipo o di un processo, nella creazione di oggetti di design, in attività di digital fabrication (attività che coinvolgono la trasformazione di dati in oggetti reali e viceversa) o nel riutilizzo di oggetti di produzione industriale. Sarà possibile inoltre utilizzare Arduino, la piccola scheda elettronica usata per creare rapidamente piccoli dispositivi come controllori di luci, di velocità per motori, ecc.
I progetti potranno riguardare qualsiasi tematica, ma dovranno necessariamente individuare soluzioni a problemi tecnici o risposte a esigenze realmente avvertite dalla collettività.

The 40 scholarships for young craftsmen technological unemployed or unemployed will have a duration of 8 months and a maximum of 5,000 euro each, in order to apply you must have a diploma or degree. The deadline for submitting applications is 12.00 noon on 25 November 2013 .
The projects will be the development of a prototype or process , in the creation of design objects , in the business of digital fabrication ( activities that involve the transformation of data into real objects and vice versa) or the reuse of objects of industrial production. It will be also possible to use Arduino , the small electronic card used to rapidly create small devices such as controllers, lights, speed drives , etc. .
Projects may address any topic , but must necessarily identify solutions to technical problems or answers to real needs felt by the community.
